- Hello all! Grapes have been highly requested, along with the ice creams on my channel. I'll be working on those this week and next week! Tag me @fatalpotato if you used this tutorial and shared it on instagram, I love to see your creations!!
If you have any suggestions on future tutorials, please leave a comment in the discussion page on my channel. It's easier for me to read when all the requests are in one place and not scattered among videos.
Additional notes:
• Moss/lichen should preferably be dried. If you can't find any outside, search online with "craft moss" or "reindeer moss." Local craft stores also have it under the model landscapes section.

Thank you for this tutorial! I always wondered what to use for grape stems! Just so everyone knows though, you used a type of lichen, not moss. And it is generally found growing hanging from tree branches in moist forests, if anyone is having trouble finding it. Love your work!
I love the way you edit your videos. They're so fun to watch as well as being so informative.
Thank you so much!
Those grapes look very realistic! Such beauty.
I've been trying to do the 'grapes' and moss method. Your way is much easier. Thanks so much for the video Leah!

Nice!!!!
Big fan of your work, this is one of the best clay grapes I've seen! Is it possible to add an eyepin to these? I want to give my sister grape earrings so bad, but I'm not sure where to put it without squishing anything. :x
Thank you! That's a very good question-- I guess you could superglue the eyepin along the spine of the moss and add grapes on from there. I'm eager to try that now!
awesome job!!💝 really, you are 👍
So sweet.i from Malaysia
I'm so sorry for asking a stupid question, but I'm a newbie to all this! I've got all the colors..am supposed to mix the purples and magentas together and the greens together and THEN mix the 2 end colors with a block of translucent?? I wasnt sure what was in the bowls, either. I'm so sorry! But I love your tutorials! I subscribed!
No worries! For the purple grapes, I first mixed a bit of dark magenta clay with translucent clay then mixed in magenta chalk pastel dust (the stuff in the bowls). The process is the same for the green grapes, just with green clay and green pastels. Hope this helps!
I just luv ya'
Awesome video....but I think you forgot linking your deviantart and instagram profile in the end of video
I've tried to add those links, but youtube claims that they are invalid. Thanks for letting me know!
