Thank you! Row 25 and 26 are definitely the best seats on the 717 for both wing and engine views as well as still being able to see the ground/ horizon!
Great! I hope to tick off a flight on this iconic aircraft before they’re all gone by January 2025! 😢 I will miss that Boeing 717 the last remnant of the iconic DC-9 and later MD-80 design! -Caleb’s Aviation
@@Calebs_Aviation since delta won’t be able to take on any new aircraft in their fleet at the moment, they’ll be forced to keep older aircraft in service longer (a reason why the 757 will stay for a while). They’ve already made plans to retrofit the 717’s cabin to keep them up to date with their more modern cabins. And on top of those 2 reasons, why would they bring N955AT back into service for just a year and a half? They repaired it after the nose gear incident at CLT last June. I was told by pilots as well as people who work for the airline and read articles about the 717 and I never heard about them retiring in 2025, it was always 2030.
@@Calebs_Aviation they may have been referring to some of the older 717s in their fleet that will be retired. The youngest 717 is only 18 and it’s still younger than their youngest 757, so it still has many years left.
View of the cockpit at 27:28 !
Pretty much the best seat on the plane, IMO. Awesome sounds and views. Great stuff. Thanks for the vid.

They’ll still be flying till 2030 so you still have time ;)
@@jwaviation16 I was told by Delta execs a few months ago that by Feb 2025 they’ll all be “officially retired” and sent to scrapyards etc…
@@jwaviation16 I was told 25 by delta execs

Cool
Who else has been subscribed since 500 subs?
🙏
Me! 😅
I have one question
Do you have a favorite aircraft?
Yep! The 757 and 717 will forever be my favorites but I do love all the classic Boeings!
