  • In this video, I make a removeable roof system for the portable micro cabin and install some more hardware. Time to take it camping! Where should I take it? Yellowstone Park? Glacier Park? Or ?? Let me know what you think.

That is a little far but if you think you want to build a cabin I would say go for it! It's good fun.

Howdy Brother Fred- you have done a great job with the cabin. Everything was very well thought out. I really like how you did the roof. I don’t know anything about where you live except it is real pretty so anywhere you put it will be great. Take care and God bless y’all

That's amazing ,,,,removable roof ,,,,plus right cap ,,,that's awsome ,,,,do you not have any rain blow threw from the top,we're it's not totally sealed?

There is a potential for wind blown rain to get in there. I have a foam gasket for that groove but have not tried it yet. I will use it when I set it up in a more permanent location- along with the addition of a metal ridge cap.

Westcliffe Colorado if not too much trouble. This is a fun idea for a temporary shelter.
