i just bought this combo, gonna use it to learn baitcasting on. Old now, but always used spinning before, so I got the left hand, seems like it will be more comefortable, so many youtubers prefer right hand and switching after cast.
It is a very popular combo, I bought mine at Dicks sporting goods. Here is a link to the combo on their website. Hopefully it will be in stock soon! www.dickssportinggoods.com/p/lews-mach-2-slp-baitcasting-combo-19lewumch2spdsplmcom/19lewumch2spdsplmcom?sku=20239694&camp=CSE:DSG_92700056421612661_lia_aud-878140244571:pla-362413401277&gclid=Cj0KCQjwna2FBhDPARIsACAEc_VFj3NKsc1ypb8ZoMPO0DAv5QaVnG__VQY4MiQrD8cSqpTO1IibGEIaAl_kEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
It all depends on how comfortable you are with your reel. If you are a beginner, then I would reccomend putting them all the way on 10. But the higher number you go to the less casting distance you will have. So I would reccomend starting at 10 and move your way down to 5 or 4. I have been using baitcasters for 5 or 6 years now so I set it to 2. Hope this helps
@@scbassfishing9620 it helps a ton. Thank you. Idk what I’m doing wrong currently but every time I reel new line on it’s getting backlash the first cast I go. I need some in person advice so hopefully find a friend soon to help lol
This is my favorite baitcaster reel. The only rod and reel combo I take everywhere I go.
Yeah it's a great all around combo! I always like to bring it everytime I go fishing
