To be honest the slx dc should be 150 because I think we are paying 200 dollars for a 150 dollar reel and the slx should be 75 dollars and the slx xt should be 100

i just bought this combo, gonna use it to learn baitcasting on. Old now, but always used spinning before, so I got the left hand, seems like it will be more comefortable, so many youtubers prefer right hand and switching after cast.

Use braid you can feel every little movement on your lure plus its strong very thin and no line stretch last longer and no memory I use 60lb on my bait caster and with a 6 5 rod I can cast far with a 40$ bait caster

Sunsets at Wilson Harbor always beautiful. Unfortunately when fishing with bait gobies have infested the waters around the pier and in the harbor..just about every cast you'll catch a goby if you're using bait. Used to be the pest species you usually caught were eels..now seems that gobies have replaced the eels as the 'nuisance' fish that will take the bait before more desirable species like bass or perch. Back in the harbor further and up into the east branch of 12 mile creek you can catch some really nice bass and northern pike.
