Started off with 40 seconds in about 1 and a half hours yesterday, and I’m at 1:33 right now, it’s absolutely insane, especially the part where I just left off, but it’s absolutely possible.
I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s harder, maybe a little, but the main thing I’m seeing for this one is that you straight up need hands that can reach more than an octave
@@isaacrandomrussell5630 i disagree, this piece is much MUCH harder than the 1851 version 2:42 is so difficult, only 1 person has pulled it off accurately on youtube (petrov)
I’ve realized why 1 year ago me thought that, this sort of piece requires immense raw talent, while the 1851 version is much more refined and precise. I (really don’t mean to brag or overestimate my own skill, but I do) have such talent, and have begun learning it, though some practice is certainly required. Basically, I have lots of raw talent, but am untrained, and as such, the pieces that require massive raw skill and the pieces that require lots of experience are somewhat (at least formerly) of the same difficulty.
Still hard, but way easier than the current version Edit: Funk my opinion, only the main theme and right hand Is kinda Easy, my hand aren't big enough to harmonize by octaves or Just playing with both hands
Tbh both of the right hand is just the same level except the newer version uses more stamina ( the beginning) but the final variation of paganini 2nd concerto 1st movement in this piece is just a level up harder version than both earlier i mentioned
There is no one that can play it at this velocity. I don't know if this is the original tempo but Liszt was crazy ( and a LEGEND).
if you can play itu slowly, then you can play it fast

Rach approves of this, causes hand pain so he approve.
Sorry for the lateness on the comment 😅I was busy learning this
@@neuro-tek my hand hurt after playing La Campanella 😂
The normal one not 1838 version
@@quirkaze theyre both normal
@@ubme21 eh I guess
fuck it my humanity status made me unable to play it faster than this tempo
Insane!!!
This is so much different than the current version
바이올린 라 캄파넬라른 그대로 가져와서 그런것이다
Before: Finally I found easy la campanella
After:I should know to do not celebrate really fast....
i bet liszt can play this in 1.25x
1:22 3:21
What happened in 1838?
This has to be the sheet posted by Shawnshawnshawn or something like that in musescore

No, much harder than the current version.
nice
S.140 pieces is better than s.141
Another S.140 piece is coming!
Yes
That's very hard than I think.
Oh yeah you bet
Well it's Liszt what u expect?
2021年9月13日
The second part isn't part of The campanella, is it?
it technically isnt, but Liszt being Liszt decided to add in 3rd movement of paganinis concerto 1 to his own arrangement of la Campanella
I know how to play this thing
Learned it in 2 weeks
Ik its scientifically possible to play but in 2 weeks ? You must be lying or ling ling
