    Tomb Raider! Best game ever for me. Not sure about 2023 release, but at least they will preview it.

    I have ZERO DAWN, never played it. I claimed it for free through the Playstation Play At Home Initiative in June 2021. I've the game on my playlist for February-end, after completion I'll pick up FORBIDDEN WEST on PS4: still not bought a PS5. In my country, the PS5 is over US$1,000, before and after the global price increases. So PRICING plus living in the cross-gen phase of game releases, I haven't been enthusiastic to upgrade to PS5 (and Series X). But 2023 is the year that we're finally shifting from cross-gen to current-gen only games, leaving previous-gen behind.
    My top 5 most anticipated games this year (Day One), are:
    1. Starfield;
    2. Redfall;
    3. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League;
    4. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor;
    5. Lies Of P.
    Being that the games, except for Lies of P, are current-gen only, and not having a PS5/Series X|S, I'm covered on PC, so no pressure.

      I'm stoked for Starfield and Jedi Survivor the most. Starfield is looking to be either late H1 at the earliest though.

    Hey dude. You should comment on the differences between Goldeneye on Xbox vs. Nintendo. I was going to kind of do a video on that but more along the lines of how awful the controls for the Nintendo version is because they are only optimized for the N64 wireless but Xbox has completely modernized controls. I’d love to see your thoughts on that.

      I can take a look at it. I haven't played either version, but I've heard the Nintendo's version is pretty bad.

    WARNING SPOILER
    The biggest crime committed by this game is that they killed off Varl. I was so pi$$ed!! I wanted nothing more than the ability to play as Varl someday, and instead they killed him.

      Yeah, I was surprised they did. I'm glad they liked someone off though to give the story more personal stakes.

    Two games I'm looking forward to the most are Hogwarts Legacy and Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and clearing out the back catalog, finally got around to playing Assassin Creed Odyssey right now (awesome game btw- not many of the typical "Ubisoft" complaints seem to be in this particular game).

    I haven’t played the first game yet and currently playing God Of War: Ragnarock and by the time I’m done Star Wars: Jedi Survivor might be out. I’ve got this game on my wishlist and the next time it’s on sale I’ll probably buy it

      I'm a few hours into GoW, really digging it. I'm also really looking forward to Jedi Survivor. I'm sure it'll go on various sales so I'd suggest checking it out.

      @@BusyDadGaming I actually lucked out with God Of War and had the game for a year or so before I got around to playing it and started playing around mid August and finished the game third week of October and I knew I had to pre order Ragnarock and that I couldn’t wait for a sale, so I basically jumped from the first game to the second.

    Hey just found your channel i like how you dont do console war lol. Ive always been playing on xbox since the original so ive never thought about buying a ps and probably never will because most of their games will probably be on pc eventually. My most anticipated game so far is probably redfall

      Thanks for stopping by and yeah, no console war here. I have each system and have for different reasons. Red fall looks awesome. I wasn't sure before the developer direct so I'm glad we finally got gameplay.

    I loved Horizon Zero Dawn. On the strength of that game, I bought Forbidden West at launch, but I had issues with it. From a narrative perspective, it was 2 steps back from Zero Dawn. I care about continuity, maybe too much, and this game has some continuity issues. Another big issue for me is the need for hand holding in this series, but it is far worse in this game. Aloy never shuts up with the hints & what you should do. I was trying to explore one area for my own curiosity more than anything & here comes Aloy with "maybe I should..." SHUT UP & LET ME PLAY MY WAY. And I didn't like the portrayal of some of the secondary characters this time around. And don't get me wrong, in spite of my issues with it, I beat it 3 times, but in NG÷, I cranked up my Japanese metal Playlist & didn't listen to the game once. By the way, I ended up pre-ordering Dead Space the day before launch for Xbox & not regretting one single penny!

    • @BusyDadGaming
      @BusyDadGaming  Год назад +1

      I didn't mind some of the continuity issues, generally. I turned off most of the accessibility settings so Aloy rarely told me anything, which I preferred. I actually didn't mind how some of the secondary characters were sidelined this time around. It did take away from a few moments in the game though.
      I grabbed Dead Space on PC, will be playing it this afternoon once my daughter takes a nap.
