The way I screamed when you said you're unhauling "Red, White and Royal Blue" but was immediately calmed down when you said it was a duplicate! I hope you get as obsessed with Leigh Bardugo's Grishaverse as I am when you start. S&B series has one of my fave characters, Nikolai. (Reading the series in the order of S&B, Six of Crows, & only then King of Scars is recommended.) The show mixes S&B, SoC in a different timeline.

He's one of my favorite literary characters because he's so funny/sarcastic, smart, and inspires me a bit with how he carries himself despite insecurity (especially in the King of Scars series). I'm really hoping for season 3, though because of how much they changed by the end of season 2, I don't exactly how they'll start that series on screen. We need Nikolai & Zoya!

You’re not missing anything by not getting into One Italian Summer. As someone who has lost both parents, I would never think “oh I lost a parent, that gives me a pass to cheat on my husband.” I absolutely hated it, halfway through it was more of a hate read than to see what the ending was.
