Anyone else think the sprites in gen II were amazing? My favorite of any generation. Also, know this is late, but I really enjoy watching these battles.
I remember reading something about how mean look, perish song, and hypnosis together is banned on Misdreavus. if this isn't true, it's still an evil set.
Groovy stuff dude. These competitive 2nd gen battles are a very interesting change of pace. Misdreavus' Hypnosis and Nidoqueen's Lovely Kiss are both event moves.

I noticed that in pvp battle you cant change your pokemon from mean look and perish song combo on the last turn if the opponent switch his pokemon.. that means your opponent sucks a bit because he could win earlier! But it was a great battle.. what type and power is your scyther's hidden power? I think after you stuck sword dance, wing attack could more damage than hidden power except if that hidden power is also flying or bug type on 69 power.
Yep, it have Light Ball if you transfer the Pikachu from Pokémon Yellow, but I believe in Gen II the Light Ball doesn't make Pikachu as dangerous than in the other Gens, because all Pokémon, like you said, are pretty bulky.
It doesn't make it as dangerous in other gens because Light Ball only increases Sp. Atk in 2nd Gen, I believe. And like you said, pokemon in general are a lot bulkier.
It sucks I cant use it cause I have a mac but no matter. I really love these videos back when things were a little more simple some things aside like the rest sleep talk glitch
Lets see Quagsire was slower infatuated and had 33HP left while the Miltanks Body Slam would hav done around 90. At the end same result less time wasted. If ur so good, then I wouldlove to see udo some battling.
Don't know why you didn't use Curse the entire time you had Quagsire out at the end... seems like your opponent only had physical moves left to use on you, and it would have made Miltank kill you much slower. I mean, that's what Curse is there for: To let you set up on pokemon that can't kill you quickly.

I love how all your opponents and you yourself use a lot of "non meta" picks, keeps the battles varied and interesting.

Why did he use hypnosis with misdreavous when your kadabra was already asleep. Isn't that breaking sleep clause?

I think sleep clause only applies to BW/B2W2 since the sleep mechanics were only changed in B/W as otherwise, sleep in B/W would've been broken.
it's an event move, but he's using an emulator so the Pokemon were generated.

my cousin used to run hyper beam and not hydro pump or hidden power flying on red gyrados and it would destroy my team
