HI, Can I ask if I buy the Chinese version and I flash Global Rom, Does Google Pay, NFC, Banking Apps, Android Auto All work ok?, also OTA updates without any problems? Just curious to why people prefer the EU Rom over the Global if all of the above work... Would really appreciate a reply. I've done many phones myself just like to do the homework before applying the Rom.
Google pay, NFC and Android auto will not work due to bootloader unlocked. We need to unlock the bootloader before flash any rom. When bootloader is unlock CTS profile match test will be failed. When it failed device will not certified. Due to that all mentioned above will not work. As for banking apps, in my country does not have any problem. Europe i don't know, its depent on the developer apps it self either. People prefer custom rom Xiaomi.eu because EU developer hide the CTS profile match so that it will passed when test the Profile match. If it passed, device will certified in playstore and all mentioned above will have no problem using it.

NFC not working with unlocked bootloader.. that sucks cause our TnG uses NFC.

Global(MI) or Global(EEA) is basically the same rom but with different update. Sometime EEA rom received update earlier than Global MI rom. So if you live in UK, better flash Global(EEA) rom.
Can I clarify, EEA ROM will receive OTA or no? I have been hearing people say EU ROM better than EEA, and I won't get updates on EEA ROM.
What is the difference?
@@Luck515 EEA is official rom, for sure it will receive OTA update. EU rom is custom rom based on China rom, try it yourself both rom and you will know.

Did you watch the video? In the video i purposely flash earlier version so that it will receive latest update and i can show OTA update to you all. Its official Xiaomi Global rom, for sure it will receive OTA.

China rom is made for China user in CHINA. Whatsapp is made to be use outside china with Global rom......that apps not compatible with China rom, so when u use with China rom for sure there will be hickup

I bought MI 13 ultra from China and going back to my country Bangladesh. I will flash it to Global rom. In your video, everything works fine like Playstore, Dialer, Google features. If i flash it, is there any issue i'm gonna face? Bootloader unlock/lock is not my concern. Can i use it as a regular Google enabled

Yes you can use as normal, the only downside is that you cannot use google pay because if bootloader unlock. Other than that all works fine including banking apps. Its depend on the apps itself, if that apps one of the requirement is bootloader locked....than you cannot use. So far i've encountered McDonald apps that cannot use due to bootloader unlock, other than that all is fine.

But i read below that installing the Global or Europe version will make Google pay, Android Auto and NFC unusable... nowadays, everyone uses that, so whats the point on installing these ROM if you get these services not working?... Either you flash official rom and root the phone or flash custom rom Xiaomi.eu

You can ONLY lock bootloader on its original rom. If China set lock bootloader on Global rom, you phone will soft bricked. It will stuck at recovery with message 'This MIUI version can't be installed on this device'

You cannot lock bootloader other than its original rom.....it will softbricked your phone.....it will not boot up and stuck at recovery mode, wanna try?......i will teach you at your own risk.

When you unlock bootloader, CTS Profile match will failed. When it failed device will not certified. Global rom preloaded with Netflix, you can update Netflix on Xiaomi own Getapps

You need to backup because all inside your phone will be gone after flash. You can flash what ever rom you want once you unlock the bootloader. Bootloader need to be unlock first.

Its up to you, i my self will flash the first rom and update the latest. Some of them just flash the latest one.

@@edwin_cho no problem with notification issues after convert tu Global rom(it's official rom for sure no issue with notification) but since launch Xiaomi 14 series and HyperOS, devices with bootloader unlocked cannot received update.

I repeat again, you cannot lock bootloader OTHER than its original rom. Phone will softbricked.

@@MohamedOsman07 find this person, but you have to pay for that servis.......i don't do/solve bricked phone. That is why i give a warning/remind DO NOT tick clean and lock during flash.

Hello what's the difference between miui Global EEA and miui Global? I have the 13 ultra imported from china with Global EEA
Its basically a same rom(under Global official rom), only from differrent region. EEA is for European economic area, if you buy phone from EU you will get EEA rom, if you buy phone from other country that does not have its own rom so you will get Global(MI) rom. For Xiaomi 13 Ultra there is 4 Global official rom. 1. EEA rom(EU), 2. Russian rom(RU), 3. Taiwan rom(TW), 4. The rest of the word Global rom(MI)

How to add account to unlock to bootloader? I facing the problem of when I try to add account to the device.
Since launch Xiaomi 14/14 Pro, Xiaomi already change UBL procedure. You need to apply access to UBL in Xiaomi Community apps. One of the condition to apply, your level have to be Level 5 than option apply UBL will appeared in you Xiaomi Community apps. After you apply, Xiaomi will grant you access to UBL.....than you can add account before unlock the bootloader. Try goggle the new procedure steps.

Hi, Can you please put a guide up for TWRP as now available I see. I just wanted to know if any guides are available for CHINA Rom Phone, unlocking booatloader, installing TWRP then updating to EU Rom.

Xiaomi already inform last year, Unlock bootloader cannot update HyperOS via OTA. So you cannot update hyperos via ota if bootloader unlock. I already saw 2 or 3 cases cannot update hyperos due to bootloader unlocked.

You can flash any official Xiaomi rom(Global MI, Globa EEA, China rom, Russia rom... etc) using this method.

@@kashifjamali8351 YES of course backup/restore working, official Global rom comes with Google dialer and google dialer now have call recording. If you ask me 2 or 3 years ago yes, Google dialer does not have call recording but now is 2023.....no problem use call recording on Global rom, its depend on the region you choose.....if that region/country does not allow call recording, then you cannot use call recording.....i've tested on my country region and UK region.....no problem with call recording on Google dialer
