Got the game today and got 10 fish in about 20 minutes. I fish ALOTin real life and seem to carry into the game well. Just have to find the cover they are in just like real life. Great game have won the first three tournaments so far.
I fish a ton I fish for bass for fun and tournament fish the down side to this game is the amount of time it takes to reel in a fish It’s very unrealistic and when fishing a tournament the AI catch fish very quickly which isn’t the bad thing for me it’s the fact you have 20 minutes and it may take 2-4 minutes depending on the size of fish in the game to get it in the boat plus finding the fish then catching them that is definitely a down side to me
You probably was not in the right spot, that's a big part of catching fish, fish like shaded areas and areas close to the banks alot of the times, you can find them farther in the lake but I have always had more luck near the edges of the lakes in RL. Idk if it's the same in this game.
Have you tried the other Dovetail games? This is the newest one, but wonder if it's much better. Their last game is only 15 bucks canadian, and this one is still 55 bucks canadian.
This game is ridiculous because it seems all i do is sit and catch no fish. The predator mission is terrible. The whole 3 round tournament i caught absolutely nothing and the fact you’re fishing in the predator tournament yet the underwater camera doesn’t show any predator fish it’s all bass. Okay i have seen at least one gar fish and it doesn’t even come anywhere near to your lure.I literally spent 18 minutes in a tournament and caught nothing. Not much of a fishing game if you don’t catch fish in it. This game is pretty boring and a waste of time

Actually some of you comments are incorrect. There is tutorials and video tutorials within the game. Also there is free play for training.
I'm sure there were those modes, I of course went straight into the career mode. 🖖
