I got my full bottle today (batch code MD2405, so it's only one month old), and to my nose, it's a citrus-heavy version of Aventus Cologne. During the first hour, you'll notice a strong burst of citrus notes along with moderate projection (I only used 2 sprays).
After that initial hour, it starts to settle, leaving you with a blend of amber, musk, moss, and patchouli, with a hint of citrus lingering in the background.
I got about 8 hours of wear, though the last 3-4 hours sit close to the skin without becoming so faint that you need to press your nose to the skin to catch a whiff.
So the citrus does not completely go away? That is good news.
@@SAMX2007 completely no, rather it becomes an amalgamation with the rest of the notes so i can't quite put my finger on what actual note is really staying there cause I could say it's the blood orange but it could be blood orange mixed in with the black currant so will go with option C, can't tell.
But that initial hour is like a bomb going off, so if you're a citrus first fan you will adore the opening and that one hour.
@@Marik248 All right gotcha. Yes I do like citrus/fruity notes, one of the reasons I like intense Cedrat Boise so much is because it opens with a burst of citrus and you can still perceive these notes throughout the wearing experience.

This is probably the most anticipated release of the year. It's interesting to hear you say how different it is from the other Eros scents. All the others are pretty close to each other but with a twist

Just picked it up. I love citrus. I have jimmy cho man ice (lemonade), Dior home (fresh cut lemon), explorer (subtle citrus more pineapple).
Eros energy, citrus bomb in the opening, totally different than the other Eros. Crisp, fresh, wearing this today!!! The dry down smells like citrus leaves and the stems when you pick fruit.
Some reviews have said it reminds them of a pumped up and even more citrus heavy Aventus Cologne…which is one of my favorite Creed scents. I’m here for it if that’s the case. Can’t wait to compare it to my bottle of AC.

@@muzim8931it is a decent one. The dry down is definitely good but it has the legend like dna/linger to me & I have a full sized bottle of invictus legend so I’d just grab it instead 8/10 times.

I understand the southern hemisphere is entering its warm months, but there was no reason for Versace to start hyping Eros Energy in the US back in the spring and not have it available until the fall. An all time marketing fumble

Think i know what they are going for. with this Eros is blue with mint and vanilla. Eros flame red and spicy and now this Yellow= Fruity citrus bright i guess.
MY SUMMARY: This is Creed Aventus with a strong Lemon note up front. Good? If you like Creed then you will love it.

Nothing like Dior Homme cologn.. citruses are fruity with some depth.
