Always should support physical. With cancel culture, PC and the cloud....there maybe a time when good things disappear.
The one thing i'd have loved to have seen on this set would be Tom Savini's behind the scenes footage from The Final Chapter. We've only ever had bits and pieces of it over the years.
I missed this live and when I went to go watch it after the fact I saw it was almost 4 hours long and I was like "I'll just watch a little bit of it" but I ended up watching it in it's entirety and it does not feel anywhere near 3 and a half hours long. Such a great interview with lots of amazing conversations, I learned so much about a lot of different things. Thank you for having this Pizowell!!!
Thanks! Yeah, it didn't feel like 3 1/2 hours during the stream, at least to me. I think we could have gone on talking about the set, our love of Friday the 13th and just horror in general for another hour or two.
I recently ordered your book Peter. It's so amazing! I've been a fan of the franchise since I was kid (I'll be 43 this month). Thanks for all the stories and pictures you included!

Been waiting for this thanks for uploading after the live stream.
I think it is so important for big franchises like this to have that kind of "All in one archival set" that is a big compendium and collected edition of as much as possible to include as a one stop shop purchase.
Godzilla's first section of films had a decent one in 2019.
Gamera and Friday the 13th both have received these absolutely brilliant archive editions that will be able to sit on the shelf as a record until both of these franchises eventually return.
We might get nice new editions of the films with better transfers or 4K editions but this collection with these features in one big box is a one of a kind touchstone.
So even if the format is surpassed with 4K disc releases in the future...this set is priceless as a one of a kind archival piece.
Such an awesome show loved hearing about all the stories I can never get enough of Friday 13

love the interviews, thanks for all you guys do on these you guys keep taking my money, i had a autograhed movie poster from carl from jason part 7 when he did a convention in st. louis years ago and i asked him about a extended cut and he said then would take 20,000 grand to do sadly we will never get it now

Just watching now... There will definitely be some 4K steelbook releases coming from SF, and later down the line an entire 4K set. Even shitty old slashers nobody saw made for 2 dollars in 1981 get 4K these days, so bound to happen. I’ll still buy it though 😂

Only half way through so I dont know if this was brought up....why does Steve Miner have only minimal involvement with the series? I'm sure he was asked to do a commentary (and didn't) even the interview he does provide barely touches on Friday 2 & 3.
It's kind of jarring to hear a 99 cent Super Chat during the interview, I understand it but it seems to throw people off when you have to pause to read one...any way you can save them for after the discussion, next time?

If each movie has its own gimmick then Jason goes to hell’s gimmick must be that it’s fucking shitty, also I do not agree, I feel the fan base for Halloween has been a lot bigger lately and the reason for Nightmare not being as talked about is because Robert England is Freddy and can not be replaced and it does not look like he can do another movie, where as Jason he could be played by anyone.
Anyone No on what part part of the box set can i find the footage that was lost and found on a tape that they had a job restoring. Any help appreciated 👍🏻

Its the first extra on the Friday the 13th part 2 disc.
