The time has come. I have sharpened my blade, planned my moves, steeled my resolve and now I step out of my past and into this future of my making. The war was a long time ago for everyone but you and I.... it was yesterday. My wound is still fresh, and it aches at every moment but when I think about you the pain goes away and the rage takes hold. I was a lord of innocent life; you were a lord of death and I happened to be in your way. The war did things to all of us, it tested my mettle and I failed to protect those under my rule. Their voices haunt my dreams though I do not know what they say to me.... I simply wish to avenge them and to end this torment on my soul.
You however sheathed your blade, put down your resolve and treaded the present era we find ourselves in. Your kingdom destroyed mine, I never saw the final battle for I was still in the ashes of my hometown gazing upon the sight you left me with. I was no general, no king, no great warrior, I was a simple protector of the people who chose me to rule them. AND YOU TOOK THEM FROM ME! MY PURPOSE! MY LOVE! MY HONOUR! TAKEN AND DASHED TO THE HEAVENS! NOW I BECAME YOU! A LORD OF DEATH!
