Another Great Teacher gift to go with the Magnet Clothes pins. Thank you. Can't wait to see what else you are going to make for your Craft Fair Ideas. I don't do craft fairs, but last year I made a bunch of your items to sell @ our 'Cookies & Other Things Sale', & everything sold out. I donated them, because the money goes to my Friend's church.
Amber...I had to run to Walmart today, & I got 20 of the sm composition books & they were 67 cents each. Great buy! Next Tuesday I will be near the Big Lots, so I will check them out to see if I can find the other notebooks you got! Thank you
I love these are so lovely just made six of them. Now the question what are you going to make with the scraps ? You're brilliant like that you always come up with something for your scraps.
I enjoyed this video so much. Your teaching and delivery of instructions are so easy to follow. Thank you. The. Tablets are a great gift for any occasion.
These look like so much fun to make. May I offer suggestion for those who struggle with attaching the paper? This sounds confusing, but once you get started it will make more sense. Once the tape is applied to the front cover, only remove the paper backing from narrow tape at the back and the wide middle strip. Line up your scrapbook paper on 3 sides as usual, then carefully lay it down pressing lightly on these areas to attach. Once the center is down, the sides will be much easier. Now carefully begin removing the paper backing from the side tape pieces beginning from the back, and lightly press the scrapbook paper into place. You should now be able to firmly adhere the paper with your bone folder. If removing the backing from the sides seems difficult because of the tight space, you can peel back maybe an inch of these before doing the center strip, pulling the backing paper to the outside so it is easier to get to later. I hope this helps.
So much fun, Amber. I have followed you for years. I haven't done a craft fair yet though. I make my pockets with a little gusset by adding and 1/8" on three sides, and using my score board. Then I cut out those tiny squares on each corner and use wet glue to attach. You have helped me so much. Thank you for your videos.
So cute and practical and your tutorials are always so thorough and detailed. You make it easy for other crafters to succeed and profit. We have all done draft fairs where we didn;t make pir table costs. You always give great ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Yay Amber's back! I absolutely love your craft fair series and I don't do craft fairs lol. I use a lot of these for small gift ideas. Thanks Amber.....I know it takes a lot of time to do these tutorials. Your instructions are always so clear!!
I always love seeing your projects. I made a large notebook last year with your video and absolutely love it. The paper you used this time is really beautiful. Thank you again.
I get excited this time of year knowing your craft fair videos are coming out. Thanks so much for sharing with all of us. You're an awesome teacher! :)
I don’t know how I missed this technique for covering the books - I thought I watched all your videos! I love the way you did them. I’m working with the full sized composition books, so am going to try your technique. Thank you for the inspiration!👍🏼
It's very generous. All the time.she takes with each video is very considerate. It's a pleasure to watch her while i craft, do planning for homeschool, or craft. She's a gem. The price point is always reasonable and ideal.
Hi, my sweet Amber! Love your Composition Journals! The cut outs from One Canoe Two went perfect with the Star Hazer Paper Pad! And the pocket you added to the cover is so useful and cute! Thank you so much for sharing how you put them together! Big hug
I love your tutorials... right now I'm catching up on your 2019 Craft Fair ideas... I have one question, though... if you've never been a vendor so you don't know what sells and what doesn't about how much of a project should you make... i.e. about how many journals would you make?
With the poly covers- have you found anything else that works well to glue down the paper? It is getting more and more difficult to find the cardboard covered notebooks- and I am not a big fan of using tape. I have glitter glue and fabri-tac--- do either of those work on this?? You mentioned dry glue- but anything else you have tried that works?? Thanks for the idea- these are great for fairs and to try to kill a few paper packs!!
Hi Brandy... I don’t find that wet glue works very well in these covers. You could try a permanent glue stick. That might work! I haven’t tried that yet. :) Amber
Hi Amber, What a Great Project. I will definitely be doing this and I have this paper pad. Love your Tutorials always so awesome tfs xoxo SparklingChar Happy Crafting 💖🤗💕
Amber, I just wanted to let you know that I made 8 of these journals today for the girls at the library I volunteer at. I also made them a notepad cover that is refillable. It is my (very) late Christmas Present for them. I've had a very rough month, but I decided I was just going to do it. Hope they like them. On 1/8 we had to send our Beautiful Princess Peanut (our almost 21 yr old cat) to the Rainbow Bridge. I am still so very upset. But...I knew I wanted to make these & I did. Have a wonderful night. P.S. I made one for myself first! :)
Hi Amber, so happy your videos craft fair videos are here! These journals are so cute. I did have a question on something I was just curious about. Why did you use the Tombow instead of dry adhesive for the pocket? Thanks so much. 🙂
I love the 2 designs of this brand they’ve had at Tuesday Morning! It’s really good quality. Question- Have you ever used book binding tape to cover the black spine?
Our Canadian Walmart RIPS US OFF. Even with the exchange....the composition journal you paid 67 cents for I. The U.S.? I bought one yesterday $3.99!!!! RIP OFF!! So frustrating. I see you listing prices all the time....we pay way more than double! Same with everything at Michaels and Dollarama. We don’t have a Dollar Tree so can’t compare...
I think that company raided my social media accounts 😂 #wandererforlife here! I like doing the mini mini notebooks 🥰 These came out cute! Thanks for sharing

Hi Amber, so happy your videos craft fair videos are here! These journals are so cute. I did have a question on something I was just curious about. Why did you use the Tombow instead of dry adhesive for the pocket? Thanks so much. 🙂
Hello! Thanks for watching! I wanted to try it out, because I heard it was a great glue. I ended up loving it. :) Amber
What if all you can find is the composition notebooks that have the soft flexible covers? Will those work for the journals?
Yes. That’s actually the kind I used in this video. :) Thanks!
lyriclover810 thank goodness I thought I was supposed to have the hard kind
When you add a link where do I find the link?
When you talk about your pricing per item can you talk about your expense to make and package the product as well?
Very nicely done. Do you know how much each one costs including packaging?
Probably approx 1.25 or less. Thanks for watching. :) Amber
Love these!!!
Thank you for ,making such awesome videos... I am working on my first craft fair projects you definitely inspire me xo
Thank you so much, Donna! xo Amber
American Crafts also has a sticker book ONE CONOE TWO
Very nice idea 😀
Is there no 2019 Craft Fair Idea #3?
I love the 2 designs of this brand they’ve had at Tuesday Morning! It’s really good quality. Question-
Have you ever used book binding tape to cover the black spine?
Challenge: make as many cards and tags and card holders as you can from a Christmas recollections (craft smart) hot buy paper pad.
The bad thing about tape is, after some time the tape bleeds through as a dark stain.
Very cute. tfs.
Oh I like these. Great job. Thanks for sharing. Cindy/carrollton
