I'm taking some of my thrifr=ted finds that have been just sitting in my stash and making some absolutly beautiful deocr. Using IOD Figgy Pudding transfer and Rocycled Christmas Blocks Decoupage Paper.

I love working with rub on transfers. There are certainly a lot of beautiful ones. I've worked with some on wood pieces and I always seal them with mod podge. It protects the transfer and the wood.
I also use mod podge on top of the paper after it's been adhered to wood or other objects. The mod podge on top will seal it and not change or darken the paper. I use beautiful paper napkins and also seal them with mod podge. If I want something to stay in place, I apply mod podge. 😉

Everything is beautiful. I really love the Merry Christmas transfer sign. I would keep it to.
To stop the bleed through, tape your stencil down, go over it with the same color paint as the background. Once the paint dries, paint the stencil in the color you want. The first coat of paint keeps the new paint from bleeding under the stencil. I hope this helps. Your videos are awesome! I love your ideas!!

If you seal your paint prior to applying your transfers it makes it so much easier, you won’t have to burnish as much. Also, I agree with the other ladies about sealing your stencil with the base color prior to stenciling. Def prevents the bleed thru. Love the products that the IOD Sisters and Royce produce for us makers. The quality and style is 2nd to none!

Thanks for sharing the tip about sealing before transfers, I’ve ordered transfers but haven’t found the right piece I want to try that piece of the puzzle on so I’ll def keep that in mind. 🎄
