- Chaos erupts early morning as supporters of the gangster turned politician Mukhtar Ansari break into the burial ground at Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. According to reports, supporters broke the police barricades to storm the cemetery ground while the burial rites of Ansari were being performed. Police clashed with supporters when the chaos erupted.
