Hi Gail. We do have op shops to donate to and big donation bins for clothing. We have eBay, FB marketplace and gumtree even but people choose this because it’s easier I guess 🤦♀️
Those big long orange extension cords are quite expensive gear to purchase and are valuable gear in the back of tradie vans and trailers, used to electrically operate generators and all sorts of machinery on work sites. But they still get tossed to the kerb time and again as surplus junk, and become .10c scrap for every street scrapper and cord cutter.

You should have a mount for your dolly on the front of your trailer or over the wheel well instead of in the truck bed taking up space, and it will be always available for use without problem. You have a trailer pick up that treadmill it's good weight!

That small stove should have some nice brass valves on them. One idea I had for your storage unit is you could store items to be scraped. Like power washers, that stove, etc. For a rainy day. Also, bro what animal is making all that noise?

You should know that you can scrap small motors and batteries, also they have what is called e scrap for electronics..... good job but expand your range.

The motors and treadmills weigh so much more than a washer or dryer for about the same area taken in the trailer. You may be surprised at the added return.

Depends what it is and how much they are paying for steel. Some things I leave because my yard don’t pay for them, like fridges/tvs. Some I leave because they cause me headaches, like clothes drying racks/bikes. I like adult size bikes at the end to throw them on top. This is from what I’ve learned so far. Still a lot to learn and a long way to go 😁
Yeah It’s called a ruru rima and It’s something that men would get on the island I’m from. It translates loosely to shield. Back in the day apparently warriors would have them and believe it protected them.
