Thank you! explained it perfectly, clear and concise.
Thank you! You saved my day of work. Nobody else was talking about merging the markers and I could not find how to add Track markers to the CD Layout.

I was getting a one track every time and after each export and couldn't fix it not even through the ADOBE so called experts with their 101 tits tutorials and PDF guides no one seems to get it right! You simply done here a Clear and perfectly 'step by step' explanation that hit several birds with one stone (as I can see from other happy comments here)! I'm a faithful subscriber from now own! wow, saved my day!
Great help, thank you!
Very helpful, thank you very much.
Its Audition version CS5, although markers and export appear in all versions, also Sony Sound Forge, Audacity and other sound editors.
thanks very helpful
Ta - a handy guide. I recall previous versions of Audition providing a facility for entering metadata about each track in a session, but CS5 (that I'm using) appears not to have this facility. From what I've read, it's there in CS6. Perhaps I'm missing something, but it looks like your technique, combined with metadata in the CD burning software is the way to go for metadata that will appear track-by-track in a media player/CDJ. A little clumsy, IMHO. Oh well.
ive just burned my first cd, its not come up with track names as i put DJ Mix CD (Uplifting Trance) in CD TEXT ive probbilly done this wrong but with playing around i should concore this problem
You can also burn CDs with tracks right from Audition. No need to export the tracks first.
Great Tutorial DJ Mark Thank you. Can I do the same edit on my mix and keep it in MP3 format and put it on a flash drive instead of a CD. For e.g. say if i had a mix that was 90 mins long and it couldn't fit on a CD could I still edit it and keep on a flash drive?
of course you can. it's the same principle. after your done adding all your markers and merging, just export everything as MP3 option.
