I met James at Shot Show about 20 years ago. He's the real deal. He gave us a projected energy demonstration and placed a chair behind my Navy Seal buddy. Right before putting him on his ass unconscious with a little tap on his forehead. He's quite the gentleman. His designs are well thought out and flawless

I had an opportunity to meet him at the Dojo of the 4 winds. I wanted to share the work I had been doing on the blades I owned. My wife is Japanese and we had a great time talking about traveling etc.

Knives with no guards are a nono

…if you don’t know how to use them.
Most Filipino martial arts (which focus on the blade) use blades without guards.
Japanese blades arts, of which James Williams is an instructor in, also use no guards for their Japanese tanto/kaiken blades.
So, knives with no guards are great and very effective. If you know what you’re doing.
If you don’t, then knives with no guards are definitely a no-no.

Knives with no guards are a no no-if you are an ignorant civilian that does not know what is going on! Hahahaha the Williams Blade Design ,and TRC knives SZK005 is the best knife ever created!!!!

@AndrewBradley-kx4bb SF can carry non issue equipment, as I said no military issues a combat knife with no guard because its a bad idea, looking stylish for no reason.
