- Game of Thrones is inarguably one of the most popular TV shows of the 2010s, but it’s certainly not for the faint of heart. It's advisable to not get to attached to any character on the show because there is a high chance that they can get cruelly killed off.
But if you think watching the show is tough, think about the actors who have to play these characters. There are scenes on Game of Thrones that involve torture, rape, gruesome death, and even incest.
So how do the actors on the show get through or prepare for these tough scenes? Well, they either approach them with dread or they just refuse to do them. Here are the uncomfortable scenes that Game of Thrones actors didn’t want to film.

Long story short, she never ate it again and I use jelly very sparingly on my peanut butter sandwiches. 😂 🤢

Red wedding made me cry very hard. I had never cried this much towards a show. I was so HURT!
I just watched episode one of House of Dragons. The performances in the childbirth scene almost made me cry. The fear displayed by Aemma, the tragic love displayed by Viserys. The brutality of a Caesarian section without anesthesia is nearly unimaginable, but unblinkingly displayed nonetheless.

At least it means I can slightly forgive D&D for the out of place and out of character scene with Bronn just waltzing in with a crossbow and threatening to kill Jaime and Tyrion. Sounds like things could have been different if not for them being exes.

Wouldn't say it's unprofessional. I believe Lena said she's a very emotional actor and I can well imagine that you need to be in a special kind of zone to deliver your best performances. Having someone you resent in the room all day could break that spell real fast.
Possibly, but since the crew and show runners accommodated for it without complaint it might be that something really bad happened between them. It's okay, if no one had told me I wouldn't have noticed. Their characters ain't close
I hated Cersei soooooo much in GoT but that just meant she played her part as a villain extremely well so props to her.
Too bad we never saw Ellaria again, it's almost like D&D forgot she was down there.. hmm
"forgot" LOL more like just didn't feel like writing it so they could rush the story.
I hoped that when DROGON was burning kings landing, ellaria somehow broke free and got hold of cersei while she was escaping.

@Themooselair I mean, those aren't two mutually exclusive statements. Maybe she said she didn't want to do it because she was pregnant. Idk when it was shot or if she was pregnant at the time, but even if it was early in the pregnancy and she wasn't showing, it's possible she knew being that vulnerable would've put her under a lot of stress and thats not good at any point during the pregnancy, especially considering her age. No need to be a dick.

Though this scene was harrowing, it definitely made viewers cheer Queen Cersei on later when she went all out for revenge. Probably the only thing that they did not like about her actions was the fate of Margaery and Loras Tyrell.
Just to be honest,itll be cool if the lanister army switched sides because jaime and tyrion is in danys/jons force,and jaime leaving the kings guard made him to be the lord of casterly rock,meaning hes the only one who have legit hold of the army

there are 3 type of knights in the GOT lore...
1.) sworn knights
2.) hedge knights
3.) landed knights
for example the tarly are knights sworn to the tyrell and to the crown...yet sams father have a family...
example of landed knight that i recall is the mountain and the hounds father who tywin knighted and gave a land....and yeah they have family...
an example of a well known hedge knight is peter baelish also known as little finger, he only became a lord when he married lysa arynn...and later became a lord of the riverlands...
so yeah...knights dont denounces their titles...only the kingsguard and the nightswatch do that...
Oh, that's why it was Qyburn who gave the orders/crossbow.
Lena is a great actor. She play so well the evil role that everyone hates her xD
Although Clarke had to eat the hearts for 28 times, I watched that scene for hundred times!!! They did a great job!

Well depends on the motives but it technically could be justified within the world of GOT since tattoos have been a thing since the stone age. But it probably would have been edited out.

Lena heady did not do the walk of shame because she was 8 months pregnant, so for the wide shots she was CGI'd on top of a body double, but mostly close-ups were used.
i love it how women have to explain why they wish to do or do not want to do something with their bodies, but no man gets this attention if he wants to use a different butt... 2019... really?

It was supposed to be a diplomatic meeting and, TBH, Bron would have found it boring as hell if it had gone to plan. So, him going for a drink and letting the "nobs" get on with it was pretty true to character.
How will the directors work around these 2? How about just telling them to be professional and get on with it maybe?

Cersei and Bronn did have one scene together. I think it was right after Blackwater Bay battle. Cersei had just visited Tyrion to see his face and as she left with het guards Bronn walked past her to go to Tyrion's room. She never acknowledged him as she walked past.
Yeah well to me that sounds like the perfect scene such a former couple could actually play together ;)

Cercei and Bronn didn't have a scene together in season 8. That's the reason why Qyburn talked to him about the plan to shoot Tyrion.

There is another scene with Bron and Cersei in together.. When Cersei visits Tyrion after he is injured in the battle of the Blackwater... as she is leaving Tyrion's quarters.. Bronn is about to get into it with Meryn Trant.. this is quickly halted as Cersei leaves Tyrion's quarters and walks right past Bron and takes the Kingsguard with her
Why does everyone forget that Cersei and Bronn did share a scene when they walked past each other in the hall after she left Tyrion's room and Bronn was walking to his room. This was after the battle of Blackwater Bay

She did wrong in many cases but she did nothing wrong by loving Jamie or getting physically involved with him, there's more example of such weird relationship but they walk free. Why her? I hated her actions and idiot decisions. But her acting, her strength as a woman, she is indeed a powerful "anti hero" of the GOT series. Next is Danny. and then Jamie.
Bronn and Cersei were in exactly one scene together in season 3. Cersei was walking down a hall from Tyrion's quarters as Bronn was possibly about to have a fight with two King's Guard. I don't know if this was before or after the actors split. However I think it's the only scene they ever were in at the same time.
So lame that they let Lena & that's dude's real life relationship dictate what the scenes would entail for the characters. There could have been some funny scenes with Cersei's & Bronn's different personalities/attitudes. Now we'll never know because those two couldn't check their drama at the door & do their job!

He was pretty hilarious. And of course you wouldn't notice what isn't there lol. There are tons of actors on that show that didn't share the screen for years/till the end of the series.
@@aryastark575 I didn't mean romantic either - I genuinely don't think that as a character she would have any interest in interacting with Bronn, the same way that she doesn't seem to care about characters like Pod. I think it would just seem forced, but that's just my take.

David and Dan tells the actors they can show as much or as little as they want on screen. So because it’s now so big, actors may not want their whole body on screen knowing millions of people are watching

They portyayed their character to life with shame as they walk but for us they did it their best to give their best. I know fans like us aren't satisfied by the last season, but it took more than a thousand of people to make it work. Tv shows are different from books

Sir Bronze and Cersi did have an scene together. After tyrion was hurt after black water bay cersi went to look at Tyrion scar in new chambers and at the same time Podreck Pain was sent to get Bronze to come to Tyrion. When she left they was on the scene together.

Lancel Lannister really could have stood up lol. The backs of his ankles weren't slit, he had only been stabbed in the side. That happened to other characters & they ran all over the place/fought like crazy. He seriously couldn't get on his feet?
It was actually the spine which is why his lower body got paralyzed, hence he couldn't get up
