I’m a Christian, but I was raised by a very strict Anglican mom who raised me to never judge anybody’s religion or beliefs, you interview with the three Satanists was actually very eye opening! I think that if we learn more about each other’s faiths, the world would be such a better place!

While I personally am Jewish, I appreciate the humanism of Satanism, and the idea of a belief system that encompasses human values and self-identity. It weighs more on the quality of one’s character and treatment of themselves and others rather than compensating for some external source of judgement. They aren’t worshipping a dude with red skin and horns, they’re worshipping a symbol of what makes us humans.

The absolute vagueness of the religion leaves a lot to be interpreted, it's no wonder so many people have so many differing beliefs of how to follow it.
That's the entire reason I left it behind. Asking questions is treated as being rebellious, and rebelliousness is treated as being anti-god. I never liked feeling like asking a question would have me be put on the spot, or ridiculed.

It sickened me when I realized that I, who was religious & like to live with as few sin as possible, turned out less emotionally developed than my peers who were only moderately religious and does bad things freely exploring as if there's no god watching them and their holy book never told them to not do the bad things they do. That ironically implies that it's better to not even mind about some big invisible dude in the sky emotionally terrorizing you, and to just follow your humane feelings.
Be curious, take risks, learn from failures, think for yourself & don't be a sheep. Abrahamic god makes you distrust your own feelings & abilities to instead swallow preset beliefs that you aren't supposed to question. Or question "too much", as they would say.

the most annoying part about being a Satanist has to be the people who are constantly trying to convert you back to one of the main religions. My father-in-law is a born again Christian. It helped him become a better person, so he thinks it would help me. I know he means well and it comes from a place of worry, but he has never asked why I identify with Satanism. I prayed for years that god would help me escape the abuse I went thru as a child and he never did. I was abandoned by Christianity and Satanism saved me

From the perspective of a Christian, who has never known anything about satanism other than that it exists, this interview was something really special for me in the most positive way: I was so baffled when I gradually realized that, according to Anthony’s guests and their seven tenets, Satanists share like 80% of the values that Christianity at its core is actually centered around, like for instance compassion, respect, forgiveness and of course most of all love (including self-love as well as love towards others). I really hope that I don’t offend any Satanist by saying this, but it truly warms my heart knowing that satanism doesn’t align with the stereotypical picture portrayed by mass media but rather shows much more significant parallels to the behavior of someone like Jesus Christ himself. As far as I see it, true Christians and true Satanists may have a switched vocabulary when it comes to naming good and evil, but both parties can have a very healthy mindset and pursue a truly fruitful life.
Read into the Church Of Satan’s rules outlined by founder Anton LaVey. It’ll also open your eyes. We aren’t scary people. We have families we love, friends we care for, even kids. I personally am a dog/animal lover so me and my wife have 6 dogs. I enjoy reggae music and cooking too.

People with misophonia tend to become irritated, enraged, and even experience anxiety-related symptoms when they hear the sound that triggers them.

I experience bullied and humiliated by people because I was born with a different belief. My parents were both christians before they convert to Buddhism. And they themselves also received threat such as "you should be afraid because you're going to hell" or "before it's too late accept Jesus Christ in your life".
I liked these type of interviews wherein it supposed to explore beyond of what society considered as a "norm"
We built statues of politicians, random wacky monuments or saints but why can't people with alternative philosophies?
Some beliefs stated to be compassionate and kind but what they did is the opposite.

I can't really relate to that but I can understand. I get hate for being Norse Pagan all the time, mostly from Christians of course. But in my house, Moms Lutheran, Dads Catholic, Sisters a Satanist, I'm a Heathen and I've been fortunate in where my parents never cared about my beliefs and have supported me and I'm sorry to hear that you were not as fortunate. I'm a Christian. I LOVED how they talked about Satanism! I won't judge or question them because they're simply happy being that, and I love that. The only thing I hate about religion is the judging and hate that's involved. I've met plenty of horrible, toxic Christians that made me feel shameful because I had a different view on things. I even got told I was going to hell or need to be fixed or prayed over just because I was in the LGBT+ It almost made me leave the religion entirely. Despite that, I still met a lot of Christians who are like me and I never felt happier.

Also, I hate bringing up the idea of suffering forever in hell. It really scares away a new person into not believing it. It almost did to me MANY times because it kept being brought up. I also think being a more laidback open-minded Christian while being loyal to God is more inviting to people because there’s no pressure. Just my thoughts.

YES! As a christian born in a christian family, I have been taught soooo many things which aren’t even biblical. I am glad I grew up and decided to get to know God without being bond to any traditions. I am so much happier in my faith since I am the one who got to chose it and never felt pressured to do so. As a former loner atheist, it gave community and direction with my disbelief in a meaningful and impactful way. I had a Christian girlfriend once and Im an agnostic. She noticed that I never really enjoyed attending their church, but never questioned what I believed in. But I attended anyways as a sign that I respect her and love her. The sad part is, she would be mad when I didn't participate with her beliefs. I wish Christians like this would just be, I dunno, open minded.
I just wish she did question what I believed in and I would be more than glad to explain it. The Christian privilege part and Richard's talking about love is like 80% of the reasons why Im an agnostic.

I'm an ex-catholic pagan, seeing christians in the comments realizing that religions outside of Christianity aren't inherently evil because they aren't Christianity makes me really happy. Honestly I think if I didn't find my path with my deities I'd have become a satanist too. It's a hella cool religion and I think there's a lot of wisdom to be gained from participating in it.
A real Christian will tell you that every belief not associated with God or Christ is evil. Man became sinful in the garden of Eden. Man turned away from God and man began to create his own ideas and philosophies predicated upon a disbelief in Gods power and grace. Any religion that turns you away from our creator is evil because God gave you life, he gave your your riches, he gave you food, your home, your family, your friends and most importantly, he gave you his only son so that you may live in eternal happiness free from a cruel and sinful world with Christ Jesus and God. A religion created by man will always and has always turned you against God despite everything he has done for you since the moment of your birth. You can have faith in your personal God, you can have faith in Satan, you can have faith in the Big Bang but one day, the earth will come to an end. Christians and scientists all agree that the end of days will come. When that happens, who are you going to reincarnate to? What's going to happen to your soul? What's going to happen to our family? What's going to happen to the hundreds of millions of living organisms on earth? The gospel seems to be the only faith in existence that explains this dilemma in depth. That is why there can be no other faith than the faith in God. It explains every aspect of existence there is from the furthest galaxy in our universe to the smallest atoms in our bodies. While you're right, there is much wisdom to gain from listening to the nonbelievers, the irony is that all of their so called "personal wisdom" always leads back to the Gospel. I tell you this because I love you as a brother in Christ and I would hate to see you reject the eternal gift that has been given to you just because of the words of some Christians that don't practice what they preach. ALL I ask is that you consider these words and give yourself the opportunity to renew your relationship with Christ so that you may one day spend eternity with him. I have been a buddhist for nearly four years and after watching this video, I am actually going to begin looking into conversion into a satanist with the hopes of the capability of having dual spiritual beliefs (something that should be effortless if the two belief systems align quite well) since I agree with absolutely everyy single one of the tenets. In fact, they align with buddhist beliefs beautifully.

You should spend a day with Luciferians too! They’re similar to satanists, with very similar tenants, but have a few key differences, especially in their interpretation of Lucifer/Satan. Satanism focuses a lot on physical pleasure and rebellion against Christianity while Luciferianism focuses a lot on enlightenment and independent thought. To Luciferians, Satan and Lucifer are two names for the same figure with different meanings attached to them. Satan is a resister and the opposition to God while Lucifer is the enlightened one that puts truth and knowledge above any divine commandment.

As for believing in Lucifer, theistic and possibly agnostic Luciferians might believe in a real Lucifer, but atheistic one’s would not believe in a real Lucifer. Essentially they believe in following the characteristics of Lucifer, namely the pursuit of truth and knowledge (the name Lucifer actually translates to “The Light Bringer” and biblically light is a symbol for truth).

If you actually read the text, he didn't try to overthrow God, he just wanted to be on an equal level with him.
But he still chose to completely disobey God and ever since has been there throughout the millennia trying to tempt people into doing the same, to the point where he even tried to tempt Jesus into not sacrificing himself to try and stop us being forgiven. I would rather follow someone who wants to give me the gift of eternal life than follow someone who wanted to have that taken from us. If someone else wants to follow the Devil, that is their choice, but I personally don't think you can expect a lot waiting for you at the end if you spend your life worshipping yourself and your own desires. I grew up strictly Christian and I was taught that Satanism was some kind of horrible thing but I never really believed it. Because I grew up Christian I question my personal religious views a lot and this is mostly because I knew I never believed in Christianity. This video really gave me a good view on satanism and I will definitely look more into it, I’m very intrigued

I have been a Satanist since my mid-teens. (I’m now 30). One thing I have always found fascinating is that other religious groups are allowed to AUDIBLY say no to my beliefs, but I am not allowed to say anything about theirs.
What sparked me to write this was when Anthony’s guests were talking about Ted talks and erection of Satanic monuments. There is a phenomenal degree of prejudice and lack of expressive rites against Satanists, and all it would take is a little reading for people to understand the belief system better.
