- Today we learn how to glitch into the water, allowing the player to walk in the river, swim without needing a wetsuit, jump up waterfalls, & even go Fly-fishing! Also, we check out Gooseton's new town hall & meet Kevin, the cutest little pig who ever went weeweewee.
After a long wait, it's finally time to play Animal Crossing: New Leaf! Some times it's nice to just take it slow & appreciate the little things in life. And that's what Animal Crossing is all about! Besides getting into tremendous debt... but anyways, I'm going to be playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf for the Nintendo 3DS, as I just hang out with you guys & chat about whatever comes to mind. They patched it in the new amiibo update. Worked fine before I updated, but after it doesn't work.
I was just about to ask about whether or not Nintendo patched everything. How sad; those glitches brought me so many fun times with friends.
I may buy a used copy so long as you're not forced to update the game. Is the update something Nintendo requires to play the game now?
No, it's optional I believe. Perhaps for online multiplayer, though. Haven't checked it out.
They patched every glitch me and my friends know of. The only one I'm not sure wether or not they patched is the cloning items glitch.
But if you update, theres no going back, as the game requires you to have the update to play it if you've installed it before ajd removed it.
If!u updated the game u can either eject the SD card or lock the SD card

If you had pushed into the south edge of your waterfall, you would have gained access to the cliff above and down to the beach. Then you can jump from there back down into the ocean to get back. Bring a wetsuit, you can't dig holes or bury things up there. You can fish from up there though. I've never caught anything.

Tried that, it's awesome! Also, once you're up there, if you go left of the waterfall & try fishing it's like you're standing on nothing, fishing on nothing. Pretty cool indeed.

It's been 2 years of updates. Maybe the glitch has been written out of the game now. I haven't played in ages so I don't know.

I've been trying to do this glitch on the welcome amiibo but I think they patched it because I wouldn't trip and fall all it does is run in place and I also did get king tuts mask

For the record, you dont need a streetpass item to clip on top of the train station, you just need a net. Go up to the train station wall and sneak as slowly as possible. If done correctly, the screen should scroll upwards or your shadow should move, depending on where you are. Eventually you'll clip on top. This works for almost every solid object.
That's the technique I used later on in the Twin Beaks episodes.
Does anyone know if there's a way to get into the river after the Welcome Amiibo update?

Yes you can, but it has to be on a deep curve and it's hard to dig near the water on the river but you can.

Yeah, I did the glitch and walked up the waterfall to the top of the cliff and that's how I found out who's sending out the balloon gifts. :)

You can also use a tweeter, but that requires multiplayer. What you have to do is go to either a cliff, edge, or front of a building. Anywhere that blocks you from something, really. The once you're there keep tweeting your tweeter and have your buddy push you. Then, after short amount of time you should be walking in a pond or river, lake, swim in the ocean without a wetsuit, get on the roof of your house, and even walk on the train tracks.

you can play a game with the campers, too. And sometimes you can ask them to move to your town. They might say they don't want to,or they might say let's play a game and if you win I'll move to your town.

The Teru Teru Bouzu is used to prevent rain, its facial features are represented by Japanese characters (sometimes used on trolling faces as well). :3

Hey, Teru Teru bouzu is a little doll Japanese kids hang outside when they want the next day to b sunny. It's Supposed to represent some sort of spirit that keeps rain away. Idk how it originally started but that's what it is today. :)

no teru teru bosu is supposed to ward off rain. kids make a ton of them the night before a feild trip so it doesnt rain, and they hang them by your windows now adays. but teru teru bosu doesnt make it rain, it stops it from raining.

Hey for the coffee shop, always put in the same amount of sugar as you put in for milk. So if they want no milk you put in no sugar. If they want lots of milk you put in three spoonfuls of sugar etc. I hope that helped!
