DIY: How We Built The Ultimate Chicken Coop!

We were ready to grow our flock and needed a bigger and better coop situation. Ingrid had slapped together a temporary fix a few years ago when we inherited some chickens and materials. This is a completely custom design. We needed more space, and Jeff was able to also make it easier to access eggs, and bring ease to the dirty process of cleaning up after a large flock of birds. We love our fresh eggs, being self reliant, and DIY'ing a way to our dreamlife!

Unfortunately that’s not actually the house. That is just a shed! It is at a standstill because of a stupid neighbor. We started that before we started the coop!
