I'll have to bring my grandfather there to try the meat that melts in your mouth. he has dentures and a hard time with normal meat. So the beef that melts in your mouth should please him tremendously! I'm sure he'll enjoy the cakes too. Thank you for the great video and tips, Chris.
What I’ve noticed about a lot of Kyushu travel videos is that they are “artsy” and lack information. Hipster. Thank you for actually making an informative video that’s sole purpose isn’t to show off your camera functionality.
I’m moving to Kyushu later this month and I’m actually really surprised that Kyushu has snow. I thought that since it’s japans most southern island it doesn’t snow. Thanks for sharing 😊
Heading to North Kyushu this Feb, having been to just Fukuoka area twice both in Feb. Found your video so informative and delightful to watch! Would you mind naming where you were filming where the snow was falling? I think Aso area? And Yufuin? Thanks!
Hi JMC:. I did our trip up in a vlog style talking about each of the locations...so hopefully this video answers your questions: ruclips.net/video/SUQEvJ7nKFg/видео.html
The glassware from Kagoshima is also a great souvenir, but not only is it fragile to get home, but the good stuff is super expensive. That's why I didn't buy any!
For the subtitles, instead of putting (speaks in foreign language) you could have put onsen, it’s quicker and after the first explanation, you would know what it is.
Fukuoka is closer to Pusan .Great for the visa run for english techers in Korea. Requirements changed. Saga. Zombie pop idols. nagasaki like hiroshima famous for others reasons. Played Shogun 2. So would be interesting to see in reality. How about walking or cycling. Korean thatd be handy. My Koreans way better than my Japanese. I used to listen to japan Pundit. Hearing about Fukuoka. Whats the hiking like? Hiking gear. Any laid back camping. Yuru Camp.
Thank you for introducing our Kyushu!
I was happy to see this video.
My pleasure Sasurai!

Kyushu/Fukuoka sounds like a good place for a Japan first visit as it's not as crazy as Tokyo ☺
I think so! It is much more serene :)
Tks

Glass is hard to bring home for sure! We were afraid on the porcelain but it made it back OK!
