- www.vladtv.com - Moniece Slaughter of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood sat down with VladTV and gave her side of the story when it comes to all the drama between herself, her son's father Lil Fizz, and his now ex-girlfriend Amanda, whom she got into a now infamous altercation with on the show.
Slaughter says that when they arrived on set to shoot her first scene for the show, producers asked her opinion of Amanda, with Moniece saying she didn't even know the girl's name even though they had briefly met before at her and Fizz's son's birthday party. She also goes on to say that she knows she was wrong for getting physical with Amanda on the show, and that she apologized. However, her apology was edited out of the reunion. Moniece also claims that Fizz lied about her while on the show.

Moniece is so misunderstood and portrayed as “crazy” by the show. I believe that she is a good mother as well as a good person and friend.

Where is she a bad mom except false propaganda and editing for ratings? Fizz said she has JOINT RESIDENTIAL AND LEGAL CUSTODY. He called her unfit yet she has custody.. And she also let him live with her after he disrespected her motherhood. Moniece has her struggles sigh homelessness which is common in California. So because she couldn't afford rent or a hurricane blew her house down or some vague disaster and the father can care for her child better than she could at the time made her a bad mother? Stop judging people!

I absolutely love your comment. Well put and nicely stated. She is very sophisticated and is not at all crazy the way folks keep trying to make her out to be. Moneice has been saying the same thing for 5 years now and people still believe Fizz. Fizz is an opportunist. He will do anything for the spotlight. If the producers from LHH tell him to date his band memeber's ex girl friend, he will. He dated Moniece's ex girlfriend's best friend for the show. He dealt with Nikki on the show. I wanted to like moniece but she is honestly just too much. Yeah you had a kid with fizz but that doesnt mean you contol his relationships or have any say so in them at all. Idk something about her is just sinister and her attitude is stank.
When you have a child with somebody you DO have a say in who is around your child. If you feel that person is not ready or gonna be around then you have the right to speak up. My mother was a single mom and when she would date guys and let them meet me id get close to them and like them and suddenly they were gone. You dont realize the impact that shit has on kids in the future. When youre a parent its not "Im in a relationship only for me." you have to find somebody ready for you, your child and your child's other parent. You say she's controlling but was she wrong about Amanda? NOPE. Id be angry at the bitch too if she was not only messing with my kid's feelings but fucking over somebody who I was once in love with and was my best friend. She had every right.
Bria Love I never said she didn't have a say in who's in her child's life, she does have that right, but she obviously wasn't there most of the time, so she can't all of a sudden be interested in who's around her son when she finds out someone else is there. And yes, Amanda may have not been ready to be a step mom because that is a big responsibility, but fizz said so himself that his son loved her and his son also said he missed Amanda, but that didn't make the show.
Keina Lee Bruh Moniece is in her child's life. If you honestly believe this "script" Mona has set up youre mistaken. Fizz has only had "custody" over their child for a year and that's because of her living situation. I put custody in quotes because they have joint custody but due to her money situation she had to make a choice to let her son live where he will be financially stable. I swear nobody ever thinks "Maybe there's something more to this show than what they allow us to see." And you bringing up Kam's love for Amanda only proves my point that shit like that effects kids alot. It doesnt matter if he liked her or not she was not good for him nor Fizz because she was not ready. She didnt need to get involved in that child's life at all if she wasnt ready for responsibility.

The main point I get and agree with Moniece on is if you start dating someone with a kid you have to take that very serious. Take the child in account...make sure you are serious. You can't be unsure if you are ready for that and come in and out of that child's life. The moment you start dating someone with a child, you should be ready for that. I have a serious issue with women who have babies outside of wedlock and feel like they are owed more than the basic standards of common respect.
Just because you have a child with someone does not mean that you get dictate the ins and outs of your babymama/dada's next relationship. There is always this level of hierarchy or seniority that is thrown around like "yeah I'm the chick that got caught first, respect me."
It would be in the interest of the biological mother, I feel, to create a levelled playing field where her she can exercise her authority as a mother in a respectful way.
