Hi Anna, I have a suggestion for the office. Try moving the apothecary chest over to the wall where you have the round mirror. And maybe the mirror can be placed above it (may be too tall). But this will allow your lovely fireplace to stand alone and shine without competition. Your new home is just beautiful! Best to you and Mark ❣

You need to use a butterfly screw into the anchor look them up. they expand on the back as you screw in which creates a more stable situation in walls made from plaster.
I use to rent a place that had a friendly squirrel. It would knock on the window to ask for peanuts. I learnt fairly quickly not to feed them near your home, as I came home from work one day and it had got in through a window that was only just open. If you want them around, but not inside, feed them at the bottom of your garden. Loving your kitchen as it is. Hope you both be very happy in your new home.
