  • Having some fun in the snow with the 2CV after the last storm. This is in the back yard where I'm trying to put it back in the spot where it was. Don't want to spin too much to avoid tearing up the lawn.

If you gently pull your handbreak a little bit, you get something like a diff lock, that works.

Schnee platt fahren ist effektiver als Schnee räumen !

Not a car for the wintertime...

That's not true, the 2 CV is an almost perfect winter car because of its narrow tires!
But you have to get dressed because the car has no heating.
I never got stuck with my 2 CV's in the winter, and there was always a lot of snow in my area!
I drove 2 CV's for many years and for me a Citroen 2CV is one of my dream cars!
I love this funny little vehicle! Who has never driven a 2CV, can not understand that.

One of the best. Wrong driving style, wrong tyres. This is not a 4WD car. What this car can't do, no other car can do neither.
I guess, it was very high snow and a steep area. Bring a Lincoln Continental on the same ground and see what this car of 2 tons weight would do - NOTHING!

Wrong tyres. Too much speed. Don't do so much speed in reverse gear, you're killing the transmission. Specially younger cars are very sensible on that.
Read some books for more knowledge.
