    Great video. I have been using the Superclamp now for five years on a aluminum trailer and really like it. Very secure and easy to use. Also use a old section of track for traction to load the Skandic in the tilt bed of the trailer, and can just ease into position without risk. Been using a tow behind trailer for five years with the same tow bar with no issues. I bet your set up works great, time will tell.

      Thanks for the view and your kind words. Hope you are entertained by this huge endeavor I’ve embarked upon, bare with the slow progress.

    what a great idea. Ditch the bar if it gets pinched and put on a spare bar and chain. I'm not a pro but I love my chainsaws and I wish I thought of that 25 years ago.

    I have the same sleds and I prefer the old carburetors over injectors I’m just looking around to see how others faired over time the ones I’ve seen around me haven’t unless there just to look pretty

    Impressive skidoo innovation! Did the saw holder survive all the bumps out there? That saw looks hefty

      Saw holder has been on the machine for over 80 hours now with most of the time holding my big saw the 441C no issues so far I should seal the wood though haven’t gotten around to it yet.

    Any reason you couldn’t just bolt the packout mount plate to the tunnel without a linq adapter ?

    • @againstthegrainliving1998
      @againstthegrainliving1998  Год назад

      You can probably pull that off but I switch back and forth between my Linq bags and the Packout stuff daily depending on what I’m doing.

      I did just that. It isn't difficult to do. I set the mount on the Linq plate, mark through the packout mount holes to the Linq plate, drill holes in Linq, bolt packout down, reinstall Linq plate. Easy. The Milwaukee Packout system has a lot of options. I use it for everything.

    Did they change the front end a bit. It seems like the stirring bars are lower. More like the expedition.

    Great work! Any chance you have a video or link to a video explaining how to use the laser to lay out precise hole location?? Thank you.

      I wish it was precise hole location’s. lol I’m not a building and just figuring things out as I go and some aspects have not been so precise. I end up just dealing with the consequences and think up some sort of solution. I wouldn’t recommend my videos for how too’s.

    What is the make of that rear bumper & tunnel rack?

    • @againstthegrainliving1998
      @againstthegrainliving1998  7 месяцев назад +1

      It is a Skidoo HD rear bumper for 20” machines rated for 1500lbs compared to the stock 1200lbs one. The wrap around bar the saw is attached to came on this model from factory but is also a Skidoo accessory. The Milwaukee stuff is on a universal wall mount from Milwaukee bolted up to two of Skidoos Multi Linq base plates a homemade combination. I think there are companies making aluminum plates that bolt to the skidoo tunnels now. Muskoka Freerider on RUclips runs one on the mountain sleds that is much more low profile.
