Do you just live with all the extra fabric hanging out back there? I may have gotten a size too big for my body, I can wrap both straps around myself twice and tie in the front with plenty of length to spare. Should I do that and have the knots under baby's bum, or trim the ends so that I can tie in the back without the straps getting tangled in my legs?
Vicious Goldfish You could tie a bow or tuck it into the sides if it bothers you a bit. The straps are quite long on this carrier. Do you back carry? If not, once you do there are more ways to use that strap length up for sure
Thanks, I'm pregnant now and have been practicing with my friends' babies. The extra length goes down past my knees, so it gets in the way and my dog thinks I'm wearing a fun tug toy.
Vicious Goldfish the Lenny has very long straps so I might suggest looking at the Fidella Fly Tai, it isn't as long at waist straps and you can easily bring the shoulder straps back around the the front and tie under baby's bum. Also, it will be usable right from newborn as it adjusts in panel height and seat setting, so you can use it right from newborn, as with the Lenny you cannot. Congratulations on expecting!
Arianne Askham I'm sorry I missed this comment somehow! This is the mini size and my girl was about 11 months in this video. She still fits it fine at 20 months!
Thanks for this video - very easy to follow :)
Dominique Sherwood-Graham so glad!!

Is this a toddler or mini size? Do you know how old your baby was when you used this? I am considering buying one but I have no idea on the sizing.
