Wife and I always struggled financially never quite made enough when we were young. After 3-4 years I locked up some really good legal side hustles. We got stable and ahead. When we up-graded beds we bought the Alaskan so on Sunday mornings the wife and all 3 kids could snuggle together and not be crowded anymore. A lot of memories made on Sunday mornings.!

I recently purchased a Texas King and the only issue I've had is finding sheets. I love beautiful linens and there's nothing like finding a beautiful set of sheets but now I have to avoid the linen section because they only stock "regular sheet sets".
Maybe you can buy the fabric you like and try to make the sheets yourself? Or maybe go to a specialist who could make them for you? 😅 that way you can custom them to how you like

Honestly I've always lived sleeping in a smaller sized bed all my life until college, once quarantine kicked In I put both beds together and it was cool having two twin size beds together but it felt way too much for me. Constantly having to to the bed the gap in the middle and more washing for me to do every 2 weeks. So now that I moved back home I sleep in a military bed and it's perfect. But props to the dude if he wants that big of a bed, I could sleep anywhere if I wanted too.

After 3-4 years I locked up some really good legal side hustles.
We got stable and ahead. When we up-graded beds we bought the Alaskan so on Sunday mornings the wife and all 3 kids could snuggle together and not be crowded anymore.
A lot of memories made on Sunday mornings.!

Cali King beds are longer than standard king beds, but they are smaller in overall area (they lose width).
I'm on Cali king because I'm 6'3 and it's so helpful with my long legs

I recently purchased a Texas King and the only issue I've had is finding sheets. I love beautiful linens and there's nothing like finding a beautiful set of sheets but now I have to avoid the linen section because they only stock "regular sheet sets".
Maybe the mattress manufacturer's website sells sheets or would have a link to a supplier. Hope this helps!
Maybe you can buy the fabric you like and try to make the sheets yourself? Or maybe go to a specialist who could make them for you? 😅 that way you can custom them to how you like

I thought the Cali King was the same width as a standard king but longer so it was a square instead of being a rectangle

California king actually isn’t bigger then a regular king only a bit longer. The regular king actually has more surface area. So it would go Cali king THEN regular king.
There's also the eastern king which isn't longer but its wider.

My kid’s dad made us a Family Bed by creating one wall to wall frame that encased both a King and a Queen so we could sleep with the nursing babies. I could just roll to the kid side, nurse, then roll back to my spot with lots of space to sleep comfortably. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Honestly I've always lived sleeping in a smaller sized bed all my life until college, once quarantine kicked In I put both beds together and it was cool having two twin size beds together but it felt way too much for me. Constantly having to to the bed the gap in the middle and more washing for me to do every 2 weeks. So now that I moved back home I sleep in a military bed and it's perfect. But props to the dude if he wants that big of a bed, I could sleep anywhere if I wanted too.
