- We are still in PA on our "mini-moon!" Today we hit 4 different places around Strasburg PA looking for sellable things, and I'm especially on the hunt for primitives. Come with us to see if we find anything! COME THRIFT WITH US! I find things at estate sales and auctions, charity shops, and thrift stores, and even pluck treasures from Goodwill bins and street curbs as they are headed towards the landfill.
Your purchases help fund more unique and antique treasure rescues and you give these treasures a new life in a new home.
Buying rescued treasures helps the planet! If we could all stop buying new things from the big box stores and start treasuring the beautiful things that already exist, we could lessen our personal impact on the planet. That is what YoSoBoHo is all about!

“Thunder mugs” is a name for Porta-potty I’ve never heard of. I think it’s good that you know which prices are too high and which items are “fake” older pieces. You’re so funny with your dislike of dolls! My Halloween dolls would give you nightmares! 😂🤣😅
At my aunt’s Montana rustic hunting place there was an out door potty, but at night she gave us kids thunder mugs. In my bedroom there were mounted deers and at night I was afraid to get out of bed so I guess I wet it!

Great shoes...I need a pair like that. I love slip-on shoes as I don't wear shoes in the house so being able to pop them off before I venture in other areas of the house, with full hands, would be nice again. Thanks for the reminder so I can keep an eye out for a pair when I am out there.

Hi Amy and Irf good to see you today. Places are so high anymore and . Where I live at they are high and you can go back six months later and the same things are still there and they never bring the price down. I don't know how they pay the rent on the booths it doesn't make any sense. That was a good video even if you didn't buy anything. I hope you find something's. See later have a safe trip

I agree, I think it’s a popular area for resellers but maybe the prices in the antique stores are also high because of the tourism in the area. 🤔 Too high for us.

I am not a fan of the primitive style and the prices for this stuff is just too high. Give me the nice china, art glass and nice figurines any day. But it is good that people have different taste, otherwise it would be boring. 😅
