Ego is where the 7 deadly sins come from, thats why you need to let that part of you that compassion, empathy, and how you think of and treat others lead you through life more often than your ego, when your ego leads you your completely entranced with your accomplishments and failures and your material possesions and the things you want to own. Theres a happy medium between the 2 but its really reprogramming the way you think, which takes a really long time. Meditation really helps the process.
Figuring it out is the first step. Living completely free requires constant awareness. I have never seen a human who lives free in a real sense including myself, tho I know a legendary/historical figure like Buddha who accomplished to let all attachments go. However, I've seen some happy humans, who have accepted that we have limitations in our ability and still keep the intention and practice to live with as much awareness as possible with balance and flow. It's tricky because the moment you try too much, you are limiting your own freedom and flow. Some also intermix freedom and doing things impulsively according to their desire. Desire itself is also limiting our freedom. Living free is a big concept that no one truly understands.
@@pro_gamer702 oh sorry, well there's no exact steps really, words in a book are one thing but really understanding it is a different thing, I could say it was a journey for me, a hard one, but it all really come down understanding who your are, where you are and how you relate to everything else, i remember I went through stages, it took years and I didn't even know until it happened, I guess if you just live your life, and don't give up on it, embrace every moment, feelings, etc good or bad, and look around everything else that has life in it but don't live like you, eventually you'll get it.

I choose to detach my feelings and thoughts that pop up reactively minute by minute, and choose to act...out of kindness, strength in spirit to protect, and not just react from my spirit. It is hard...almost impossible at times.
I’ve survived many scenarios where I should have died. Hitch hiked and walked the US multiple times coast to coast. Endured living outside for six years. Saved a few lives, almost taken a couple. Knew where to show compassion, while also knowing where to draw the line. I know what I am capable of, yet I know I can do more.

I've followed Bob for a long time. Spiritual people don't look like hippies. They're people of all walks, looks and you will be surprised at who is really who.
This is true, birtually the main reason that I sti and watch yt is because I feel it is painful to work. But that work and that pain is something external. IF you let that control you then you are just reacting. It is not you who takes action but the thing makes you react. So instead you have to be free, go beyond pain and all and control yourself. Not letting darkness outside control you or doubts and demons inside control you. You need to be in control and only abide by your free will, abide by your heart, abide by your light. Not doing so means you are just reacting and you really dont exist in the world but instead the darkness exist who you allow to be brought into the world by letting it control you and take action for you. You are killing yourself without knowing i t and that is why you are in such a bad place. If you actually acted out the things you thought and aimed at the highest good you can concieve of, not letting anything control you but your will to do good and follow your free will follow your light, then you would get everything you could possibly want from life.
Your body, mind, emotions, thoughts, desires, dreams, goals, and imaginations belong to you, but can never be you. You can possess those things, but those things can never be you. Reminding yourself daily that you are not any of these things will open a possibility for something incredible to happen. It’s at this very moment when you start to consciously connect to your higher self and realize you were not just living on a planet in the universe, you are the universe itself.

Figuring it out is the first step. Living completely free requires constant awareness. I have never seen a human who lives free in a real sense including myself, tho I know a legendary/historical figure like Buddha who accomplished to let all attachments go. However, I've seen some happy humans, who have accepted that we have limitations in our ability and still keep the intention and practice to live with as much awareness as possible with balance and flow. It's tricky because the moment you try too much, you are limiting your own freedom and flow. Some also intermix freedom and doing things impulsively according to their desire. Desire itself is also limiting our freedom. Living free is a big concept that no one truly understands.

@@pro_gamer702 oh sorry, well there's no exact steps really, words in a book are one thing but really understanding it is a different thing, I could say it was a journey for me, a hard one, but it all really come down understanding who your are, where you are and how you relate to everything else, i remember I went through stages, it took years and I didn't even know until it happened, I guess if you just live your life, and don't give up on it, embrace every moment, feelings, etc good or bad, and look around everything else that has life in it but don't live like you, eventually you'll get it.

This is true, birtually the main reason that I sti and watch yt is because I feel it is painful to work. But that work and that pain is something external. IF you let that control you then you are just reacting. It is not you who takes action but the thing makes you react. So instead you have to be free, go beyond pain and all and control yourself. Not letting darkness outside control you or doubts and demons inside control you. You need to be in control and only abide by your free will, abide by your heart, abide by your light.
