I literally just read an article an hour ago that states President Biden has no plans to step down. Can somebody tell me which democrat can run for president in the next 3 months & win? I’ll wait. I adore Kamala Harris & I know intellectually she can turn Trump every which way but loose, but she won’t win. We couldn’t get people to vote for Hillary Clinton against a man who had NEVER held a public office.
You are correct. I am a diehard Democrat, Trump will when 40 out of 50 States. We need to get very serious about the amount of racism and misogyny that exist in this country. Look at what happened to Obama after his 1st term, lost the house by 60-70 seats. Got Trump after his 2nd term. I would love to see a black women a Prez, it just won't happen in my life time. We are 1 maybe 2 generations from that being a reality. There will be several white Prez, before there will be a black female Prez. When need to get the easy win.

I can’t stand all this doubting VP Harris and her ability to win as president, it’s the same energy black people had when Obama ran and won twice. Bottom line if they remove Biden put someone else top of the ticket, I will not vote and if Trump wins then it is what it is. I have never not exerted my civil duty to my country but if the democrats do the wrong thing I will not get on board with it.
It makes more sense to be her for a few reasons: 1. During primaries she *was* technically voted for as part of the ticket 2. The campaign money that was raised for the Biden/Harris campaign can easily be used by her. To be used by another candidate I believe it would have to go through PACs & the other candidate wouldn't have as much money at the end as Harris would. And anyone of us regular people who has given small dollar donations are going to want to see their money go as far as it can. Not to mention we need every penny to defeat Trump. As far as VP goes, I'd love to see Whitmer! But I'm not delusional - two women on the ticket may be too much for the country as a whole. Though since Roe *is* a big issue, maybe it could work? But I think the smarter move is to get an oldER (like someone 50-60 - not old like Biden but someone with time in & a political record) white man as her VP. Someone the establishment is friendly with. I hate pandering to them but I think that gives her the best chance. And have him be a strong presence. But I 1000% agree - they really need to give it to Harris. If that was a man in that position they would never DREAM of giving it to someone else. Decorum & all 🙄 Unless they want to have a national vote again so the people have a say... but there isn't much time for that. I think she's the logical choice. And she would SLAY Trump during debates! I bet he wouldn't even agree to do one with her!!!

I honestly don't think she could win
