    How much did these run you? I am looking for something just like this for the mini boats.

    I have these headsets for my wife and I. We use them with our UTVs. That’s a great idea cause I don’t always wear a helmet. Thanks for the video and the idea. That’s Awesome

    Is it water resistant or water proof?? Im curious because of water spraying with chop might mess it up.

    Hey lil lady, being a Bluetooth accessory wonder how well it would do in the thick woods while riding our SXSs and ATVs.

    Thanks for this video, it worked beautifully on the water!!! Now how do I wash these headsets, my were soaked with ocean mist?

  • @hydraulics
    @hydraulics Год назад

    Three things: 1. No way will that one speaker fit through the cover. Did you use a heat gun or something to soften it? I tore it to shreds.
    2. Why did you make the mic connection outside? Why not just tape the plug inside the left muff?
    3. Mic won't reach my mouth from earmuff I guess my heads too big lol

    • @AlveanAzurin
      @AlveanAzurin  Год назад

      Lol.
      1.) I made two with these headsets and was about to fit speaker through the head band with some finessing.
      2.) maybe I could put it on the inside but would need to put a bigger hole to tunnel it out. Plus there isn’t much space inside after putting foam cushion back inside. I might need to screw it down to hold it better.
      3.) lol. Could be. Mic has a lot of space between my mouth to mic. My friends that borrow them don’t have an issue with mic being far from their mouth. Maybe your placement of the base of the mic is further back?

    What brands of hearing protection did you use? I assume not all of them come apart or are as low profile as the ones you found.

    Thanks for sharing this. I ordered these parts to make it, but ended up sending the M1S back because the volume was too low. I'll follow this guide using different electronics.

    Thanks for this! Did a V6 onto a ball cap couple years ago, worked OK but won't stay on over 30mph. You're idea is great but the fact you reviewed and tested it is outstanding.. We're moving to a 6 set intercom and this will be how we go.

    This is a great idea. I'm working on a pair for side-by-side riding using the same muffs you used. But, I can't pop the ear muff wire off the plastic band. How did you do that?

    • @hydraulics
      @hydraulics Год назад

      I used channellocks. To pop back in I used the shaft of a screwdriver

    Get with someone who has a 3d printer and you can produce the ear cups with what you want specifically for this product. That purple plastic part it should be VERY easy to make with a 3d printer and make it to accommodate anything you want.

    It sounds cool... But what does the authorities say about it? I mean isolating from the possible noise of any boat around you.

    • @AlveanAzurin
      @AlveanAzurin  3 года назад

      Nothing so far. I can still hear other things around me. The wind sound is decreased. I doubt it would be an issue bc sounds are isolated with the sound speaker or even the exhaust.

      Just drill several holes in the outer cup to let ambient noise through if you are concerned
