I find Fodsports hit or miss. Some of their devices are REALLY good, and others fall short. I'm mixed on them, but for the price I do think they are great headsets
Hello. a few weeks ago i purchased two of the Fodsports FX8Pro one for my fullface helmet and one for my Wife's half face helmet. we have the stock speakers and mic sets. the sound is great just like yours till about 40 MPH and then i can Barely hear music, kinda the same on the intercomm, but i can hear my wife a little better than the music. However, anything over 40MPH and it becomes VERY hard to hear, she said the same thing so i dont think its the helmets. I feel like they need to improve their system a little bit, granted i dont expect cardo or sena audio quality, but it still Should work at higher speeds i have thought about purchasing the upgraded speakers but i dont wanna waste money. ive also thought about getting a set of small speakers and cutting off the stock ones and soldering them in. would void the unit but it might improve. overall WE are Happy with our purchase it does ALOT for the smaller price tag. really enjoyed your review
Some additional info for you. I have the normal speakers that where claimed to be upgraded over original. (Different size) But there black plug. These look different. I use sticky mic my buddy uses boom. He can hear me decent he says. But compared to my older tcom sc. On my end the boom mic sounds like a old phone and volume is low.. the speakers are way louder and better sounding then the tcom. So the mic seems to be the problem. The tcom you could make out what was said to 60 mph. Biggest tip with all units is check the speaker to ear alignment and have them lightly press ur ears. Everyone's head shape is different and helmets use one shell for multiple sizes. The speaker pockets just dont line up great. My speakers are touching cheek pads at top and still arent perfectly lined up. According to the marketing the upgraded speakers use a 3.5mm headphone jack. I guess to try to sell for other units. But if thats the case it would be easy to swap to other ones. I thought they where smaller. Just probably want a similar ohm. The mic is cutting in and out cause its "peaking" a replacement, better noise cancelling, or shielding from wind is only fix.
That’s tough as they both have things I like about them. The Fodsports sounds better with the upgraded speakers. But the XGPs controls were easier to use while riding and gloves on. If you’re really picky about sound I would go Fodsports with the better speakers. Otherwise I like the XGP because it’s easier to use
I really like your video, our motorcycle communicator is a new product in the market which called RESO. Could we get chance to chat about it, I want to know how you feel about our product!
Oh I don't ride with this one. I have a Shoei that I use all the time. This is my "test" helmet for reviewing bluetooth headsets so I don't have to keep pulling my Cardo out of my Shoei!
Thanks. First time I have seen a review of the upgraded speakers.
2:10 yeah fodsport aren't exactly up to date with the sockets on these, in fact a bit antiquated 😮
Tbh my opinion on the fodsports unit is they work but seems to be rough around the edges, various little things spoil the experience of use 👍🏻

Sorry i have m1s pro. But even if unit doesnt have same chip. Everything else is same.
10:55 so the question there is, is that difference worth the cost of the upgraded earphones 🤔
It depends. If you wear earplugs, you may want the upgraded speakers as they are louder
so which one do you like the best , this or the xpg?

15:27 so basically the music share is unusable due to the inability to select the volume 🤷🏻♂️
It turns out the the volume does work. You just have to control it from the device, not your phone
