There really are too many good planners; it’s so hard to choose and commit to just one each year! The contest was so fun; so grateful I got my answers in first!! Great video! Thanks again!
I'm enjoying my Dragontree Dreambook right now. With the loss of my mother earlier this year, all goals and timelines were pretty much thrown out of the window. This is allowing me to focus much more intentionally on the new life i want to create. Plus, it has space each month for PROJECTS...not "goals". Which is what my brain likes (hello time blindness😂). I'm also loving my Jot planners from the dollar tree!🤣 Those are my EDCs that i use to track different things (meals, budget, Appointments, etc) without everything being in one book (again - helps me focus).
I am so very sorry for your great loss of your Mother. Sending a big hug xxx and I hope you feel comfort during this hard season. Thanks for sharing your experience. I think many can relate to planning changing when loss of loved one or big trials turn our lives upside down or chronic illness. This is a topic that I think we can all relate to. Sprouted planner Owner talked about hwo this was the very reason she created her planner...after the loss of her dad. The story is on her website if you are interested. I haven't seen the Dragontree Dreambook- but I am going to look it up! I also haven't seen the Jot Planners. So thanks again for sharing.
You are so right about Erin Condren. I also keep going back. It’s just that great I agree. Absolutely repeat it! I loved it. Also I found myself looking at momagenda now :))
Awww! I almost had it right! Somehow I missed Simplified 🤦🏽♀️ This was so fun to watch! The comment that resonated with me the most was when you said that you needed to see the monthly, weekly and daily lists separately so they can’t all possibly be in one book. I think I am the same way. Having them separated is just better for my brain 🤣
Thanks for sharing what you have been loving! None of them came as a surprise and I enjoy seeing how other functional planners use their books. Have a very happy Thanksgiving!!
I loved seeing your personal top 5. Mine are the Erin Condren coiled A5 horizontal for my main home planner, Moleskine pocket weekly for on-the-go, EC A5 softbound for journaling, Hobonichi Weeks for lists and the Happy Planner mini for budgeting. I have other planners that I dip into for projects. I already have my planners for 2024, but I'd like to narrow it down to 3 in the future. I just can't resist all the lovely planners
Hi Ellen:) Thanks for watching:) I loved hearing your planner line up!It is really hard to narrow it down with all the beautiful and functional planners made now. Have a blessed week;)
Thanks for sharing this. It is a nice format to summarize the planners. Maybe someday I will try an Erin Condren. I'm curious about the smell of the paper 😊
Always like top 5 videos. Mine is Planner Perfect. I love it for all the reasons you mention. I also like the sub box because I am a card maker and use the tipins and extra stickers & washi to put on cards!! It's so fun getting the box every month.
I love Planner Perfect each month too so I can relate to how you feel about the monthly box arriving! Thanks for watching and sharing your fave and how you use it;)
I totally called it in your Instagram stories! I just didn't know which one would be the bonus, though I guessed the bonus would be Simplified, Ashley Shelly, or maybe Erin Condren (because you're not using it right now).
this was awesome! I think I had most of them right but missed out on Ashley Shelly when I sent my answers on IG. . I recalled it too late. Lol I will say my top choices are EC, Plum Paper, and Simplified, and I used to love the Happy Planner layouts but got tired of the discs so will not go back. I really wanted to try a Laurel Denise but the sizing was off for me...either too big or too small in all of the wrong places for my style if that makes sense. She and her group are so fun though so who knows...it may still happen some day.
I signed up for the Planner Perfect accessory boxes again. Her art just makes me happy, and I love having it to use in my planner, and to put the tip ins on my wall by my desk for the month to “decorate.” So as long as I feel like I can afford it, I want to keep getting it. This is a great planner list! (And I’m glad you kept the Elgato mic. The sound in this video is just a bit more muffled to me. 😘)
I hear ya about the Planner Perfect accessories box- it so happy;) And then you have all that washi and leftover stickers for the next year too! at least I always have some left;) And thank you about the mic feedback! I am so glad I kept the right one;) Happy Thanksgiving Jana!
Love this video so much! Definitely worth the wait! Also my current favorite planners are Laurel Denise (I use the vertical for work bc I have to have a separate work planner for confidentiality purposes) and Makselife for my personal planner bc I love having a built in goal setting system!
My top 5! Inkwell Press or Amplify for daily and Spaces or Makselife for weekly (and ML for goals). I tend to go back forth between each. Plum Paper is my #5 - used for years and just needed a change. I do have a question for you, though! After you mentioned liking the momagenda for the vertical layout without a spiral, I was looking at both Hemlock & Oak and Momagenda for that style - how do they compare? I can't decide which to try!
I loved hearing your faves Ashley:) I actually tried Hemlock & Oak...and while it has better paper at 80#- and momagenda is only 70# but -The mom agenda has wider columns at 1.5 inches and a 7x9 book and I needed that. And my washi and the layout of the page without the hours of Momagenda just works better for me. The new hemlock and oak for 2024 might have wider columns...I haven't received it yet but someone mentioned that somewhere to me. But I doubt I will leave Momagenda for it;) Good luck!
My fave's are Ashley Shelly, Sprouted Planner, and EC :) I always have to make room for a EC because of all the reasons you mentioned. I totally agree, Simplified has the most beautiful covers for sure!! I kinda would like to try planner perfect at some point maybe for journalling. Love her art work. This was such a fun video!! 🤗
I loved hearing your faves too Vickie:) And I feel validated that you agree about EC and Simplified;) Thanks for watching and chatting with me as you always do!
Thank you for keeping us updated with all the planner options! Your reviews are so detailed. I prefer a plain notebook for planning, but I like a nice one. Do you know who has a letter-sized, hard back, spiral coil notebook? 🤔🤔
Oh, that's a hard one...Hardback and letter size...I personally don't know! Plum paper and Erin condren both have 8.5 x11 notebooks...but they are not hardback. Although I will say the EC hard laminate covers give you something good to write against...and Golden Coil makes beautiful notebooks with their hardcovers...they aren't 8.5 x11 but they are bigger than 7x9. Sorry I don't know those dimensions off the top of my head! Good luck!
Love all of these top 5 videos. I look forward to them every year. OOOOOOO!!!!!! I just ordered one of your collab calendars with Ashley Shelly - 6X9. I am excited to see that beautiful cover in person- now how am I going to use it?!?!?!?!
Aw, yay! Thank you for being excited for my Collab Cover Nancy:) If you don't use it for your calendaring appointments...maybe it can be health or habit tracking, meal planning, or budget? Just a few ideas:)
LOL smelling paper. We live in the middle of no where so when my husband goes to the “big city” for work I tell him to stop at Staples and smell the paper for me😂 I love the smell of paper😊
I would look at a5 size bound book planners like Leuchtturm planners on amazon. Muji makes a great portable planner I have loved and used and reviewed here on RUclips. Hobonichi Weeks size- also Sterling Ink makes many options in her common planner that would fit in a purse. Wonderland 222, Passion Planner small size, take a note, Jubin techo, Clever Fox has many layouts that fit this bill, commit 30 smaller size...Simplified Weekly...I know there are many more. But those are off the top pf my head;) Good luck!

Thank you for letting me know! Going to try to grab a new one now. They apparently don't last that long:( But I don't know how long exactly- so that is frustrating. I wouldn't know unless you told me! I will get a new one up now;) Thank you!
Good question! Sorry I didn't explain that in this video. Tooth just means texture. It's a slight texture that just feels good on the paper and grabs gel pens well and absorbs them quickly:)
I don't. But I do have them all grouped in a budget planner playlist here: ruclips.net/p/PLKXcbjxoqMB1w7nHYEyh02PjZgIh_Z4dd&si=neHO-eVYvvtRJQWo Thanks for watching;)
Laurel Denise is absolutely beautiful. I wanted to love mine! However, it's information overload. My brain doesn't work that way. Give me a daily (FOCUSED) page anytime.
Hi Tonya:) I have heard that from a few other people too about the LD. I can understand that. I love that we have so many planner options and it's good that you now know that about yourself:) I always love when I can narrow down exactly what I want in a planner and I just know if it will work for me or not after trying so many! LOL. But sometimes even I surprise myself!

I am using Planner Perfect this year. I started with Planner Perfect in 2020 and I cannot express the joy Jenny's art brings me.
I love hearing that because I fully agree! The seasonal artwork in the washi and stickers is something I love to see daily on my planner pages;)
