His foot was tangled up with the guy to his left. Not sure if this was the case in all the earlier plays, but on the final play, he just fell backwards like an off-balance drunk tripping backwards on his own feet.

This is a none story!!! Denver's head coach took the blame for what happened and said they would go back to shore up these areas so that it does not happen again.

He fell back so hard that his head snapped off the ground. Watching football since 1966 and never have seen anyone getting blown up on a kick like that.

Man, that blocked kick may cost them a playoff spot.

No one has answered the questions, were they aware of this HOLE in their Special Teams ? If so , why didnt they fix it ... IF not , why not ? Happened over and over again all year. How can a SPECIAL TEAMS Coach not see this . There are no good answers, this may have cost them the playoffs ... You just dont Hand another team a win in the NFL ... I see them still having a chance but man what a missed opportunity.

Payton should have put the ball on the left hash. The field goal would have been good.

Wil wanted it on the right hash

@@Jdozens Just looking at the film. If the ball is on the left hash mark, the Chiefs may have put their rush pressure against Denver's right side. On the film of Forsyth getting blown up, there are several instances of the ball being on the left hash, and the majority of pressure comes from the right. If the Chiefs emphasized the rush from Denver's right, Denver's left guard wouldn't have been as exposed.

@@rjbush True. Also, by lining up on the right hash, you have to direct the kick back to the left - straight into our area of blocking weakness.

Broncos special teams must have the softest practices ever. How is it their own FG rushers did not expose this in practice?

Yes Dmac Bolles would do better. Head down weight back. Forsyth has no technique.

To give O line a rest. It makes sense. Backups should be able to get the job done...right. Dmac why didn't u notice this??? Had you noticed it and brought it up when talking to coach then this doesn't happen....do your f....kng job!!! Your just as responsible.
