    Broncos fan here. I can't tell you how happy I am to finally have a QB.
    I think Nix struggled to start the season because Payton intentionally over-loaded him to see what he could and couldn't handle. Deep end of the pool and whatnot.
    It's been a learning curve for both of them with improvement from week to week.
    Those screen plays for TDs were freakin' awesome. That downfield blocking is great fun to watch.
    Anyway, outstanding breakdowns and analysis, Chase.
    Keep up the good work.

      Maybe. Or maybe he was catching up to the speed of the NFL game. A coach and QB relationship is like a dance. Gotta be in synch and sometimes that takes time. So stoked we have a QB. I disagree about Payton overloading him though. He babied him the first 4 weeks. It was very vanilla passing concepts and play calling. We are finally beginning to see the SP creativity and play design on offense and Bo is handling it perfectly.

    People keep forgetting what Bo has to work with. His #1 wr is really a #2. #2 wr injured. 2 late round rookie wrs, practice squad wr and a wr that has not lived up to his draft status even though they are starting to use him the last couple of weeks. Tight ends stink but some potential in Krull. Rbs inconsistent. Going to be nice to see weapons added to this O next year.

      @@MichaelLoves2024 Im more surprised people are not bringing up all the injuries Atlanta had at cornerback to take away from his performance. If you watch all the bronco games this season you would know it has been a problem and not just with the wrs. Bo was leading rusher for multiple games because our run game sucked so bad and we just recently started using the tight ends.. Some of the Offense success could be that the team is jelling and the young players are gaining experience. Which allows Payton to open up the offense more.

Whe avg getting the ball out under 2.5 seconds and he was very good and actually got knocked for not setting his feet a ton of time but he didn't need to because his arm is really strong. He threw 60mph at Oregon to Herberts 55mph and Herbert has a cannon. In the same drill at Oregon, he threw 58 at combine to herbs 55mph to which he didn't take a stephe threw flat footed no step . There were only 12 guys who threw it harder in 20 years btw. But as far as his release he always could get it our in a hurry I think.hes getting better at his footwork tho. He was like this sy Oregon took a few games and then he was off to the races

    Nix has one more full game played. Against Carolina, (the game jayden left early in) bo had 275 passing yards and 3 TD's. id say jayden puts up that same stat line against the panthers. argue with a well.

      @andrewdavidson2428 I can, and I am absolutely saying that Jayden Daniels is the better quarterback in my perspective. Doesn't have to be your view on it, and it's fine if u don't agree, but for me yes Daniels is better than all the rookie quarterbacks I've seen this year.

    Look at all the JD glazers talking about its a stretch to think Bo can be ROTY 😂

    • @aaronh305
      @aaronh305 День назад

      I wouldn't say it's a stretch , but Chase saying "hands down" is definitely click baity and he got the result he wanted. With 6 games left a lot will depend on how JD5 does or doesn't bounce back from the two losses as well as how Bo finishes out.

    Yes, Mimms will be decent, but one of the biggest reasons Sean had to invent plays specifically for him is because Mimms runs routes extremely lazy!! He has almost no side to side elusiveness . Multiple times, Mimms has been open down the seam, and Bo threw the ball where Mimms should have been, and Mimms didn't even lift his arms to attempt the catch!! It was obvious Mimms blamed Bo when it was his lack of effort and attention to detail that was the problem. Denver has one of the most dangerous young players in the NFL on their practice squad named AT Perry. He is equally fast as Troy Franklin and Mimms except Perry can track deep balls better than many of the vets. If Denver has Perry, Franklin, Vele, Perry, Sutton, and Krull on the field it will be impossible Denver's opponents to cover them. I have my fingers crossed that Denver doesn't somehow let at Perry slip through their hands after acquiring them off of the Saints practice squad!!
