Original tank to solo Titan Extreme back when no other class could. Of course remembering the days when people would do Extreme trials with full tank parties back in the days of Heavensward Like Thordan when they released. Check out Xeno's. Believe it was him who was the first Solo Titan Ex clear and did the Full tank party of Thordan Ex when it released. Later a Scholar would be the first to solo Shiva Ex.

God as someone that just got it I FEEL this so hard. Raw Intuition literally gave me a fucking lobotomy with how often i spam it and use no other mitigation. Everytime I go into a lvl 50 dungeon it feels like ive been crippled

From a healers point of view in roulettes:
Low lvl warriors: seems to be made of paper compared to others, need to watch my mana expenditures...
high lvl warriors: well, guess I'm DPS now.
As a healer main and someone that occasionally plays Warrior I wish they'd switch thrill of battle and raw intuition. Raw intuition (as the main source of self healing) is basically the skill that makes Warrior Warrior so they ought to have it from the start. I appreciate that it's now at 54 instead of 76 but it could still be better.

I had dead healer in dead ends dungeon who was simply die every 5 seconds for some reason, yet somehow the WAR tank managed to keep restoring his own hp to full every single time. I'm thinking about farming the bird minion with war tank and 3 dps. No healer needed. Fast run!
Every time I see comments like this I think to myself "I was totally the healer" when the likelyhood of that is so small it's bearly mentionible.
Meanwhile, I was healing a GnB who would get wrecked 100-20% 1-2 times a pull. No one died, but it was stressful.
He said he was a WAR main and new to GnB...so I was like "ah ok."

The fastest run of Dead Ends on fflogs is indeed WAR and 3 DPS. Tried to do the same for on GNB and died to the final set of four mobs on the second pull. 🙃
@@3lit3gn0m3 nope, that's even experienced GNB too. They get hit really hard and require heals. I'm a GNB main, and recently got my War to 87 to see what the fuss was about and now idk if I can go back to GNB. Lol.

I stay a DRK as I prefer a pure tank and not a healer/tank.
Plus I like to be able to id healers from green dps.

I just leveled up Warrior to lvl 90, can confirm that was pretty much my experience. I just did wall to wall pulls and press the give me back my health magic button, i didn't care lol

I just did the same, and have had pretty much the same experience. I played other tanks before this, but now they just feel incomplete without warrior's magic health button.
@@quazar4773Doubtful as one of the developers play WAR. They have their favorites. That's why WAR, WHM, BLM and DRG are still fun to play.

I have watched this a million times both because it's just so hilarious and because Judy Garland is absolutely stunning.
I'm not a warrior main so some of the jokes go over my head (since I dont know what their skills do lol) BUT as a healer main... I feel represented in this video since Warriors don't seem to need me.

I dont think they feel completely pointless just cuz people are always gonna make mistakes and the new raids actually require healing... but seeing some people make it through like trial 1 or 2 EX without healers def hurts. That shouldnt be a thing... people can really run through dungeons on war with 3 dps too. big sadge.
The big one is at around 20 seconds, which is the new Warrior skill bloodwhetting. Its an upgrade to raw intuition that gives a hefty amount of mitigation, a 400 potency shield, and causes all of the Warrior's weaponskills to heal them. It's why you see their health just suddenly fill up over and over again during big pack pulls, as it's based on hits.
What makes it really nuts is the uptime on it. Half the mitigation goes away after 4 seconds, but it still has some mitigation for the next 4, but the self healing lasts for 20 whole seconds while the skill itself is on a 30 second cooldown. So there's only about 10 seconds at a time where the warrior isn't self healing from bloodwhetting, and they have other dedicated self heals they can use in those 10 second gaps anyway.
It's such a fun skill, I use it constantly. Sometimes even when I'm the off-tank ill just hit it for funsies!
@@gaigetucker6242 I’m a WHM main as well, the meta just makes me more motivated to perfect my WHM DPS rotation while also picking up some more jobs. I’ve always wanted to learn other jobs, and this is the perfect time to try them out!
@@JackgarPrime All I know is that once I lvl up a tank I'm using warrior because I am going to be horrible and it's probably the only tanking job that can make up for my lack of skill LOL.
my girlfriend is a WAR main and has been playing since 2.0, i think endwalker has been the happiest she's ever been about the class! we've even been running lvl90 dungeons as 3 dps with her and we have no trouble at all, it's hilarious 🤣
It'll be nerfed at some point so don't get used to that.

I had a near party wipe in the final MSQ Trial and the lone Warrior soloed the last 35-ish%. It was amazing. Looked just like this actually.

@@Cheesecakeman105 Absolutely. The whole party agreed he got all comms. He definitely earned them. It was impressive to watch, even knowing that WAR is a bit OP right now.
My first time in the final trial ended very similarly, except there were two warriors remaining in the final phase (I was one of them) and we easily kept ourselves and each other up for the rest of the fight, It was such a great moment!
@@nbstyles01 WAR ain't "a bit op" they are broken... A bit Op would be GNB, they are also able to solo most stuff these days. Heck even PLD could be "a bit OP" but they at least pay for that "OP:ness" in DPS(Clemencies).
DRK is somewhat "normal" still, since they require a healer(more or less). They don't even make up for it in DPS(even if they are top of the totem pole).WAR is just too close to them for DPS tanking being a "thing".
I actually did it with my war main on that final trial, its actually not that bad because it cast party buster all the time and doesn't attack the tank all that much.
This is accurate sometimes i just stand in aoe markers during large pulls to get the most out of my decimate spam and chaotic cyclone. Its fun scaring the healers lol.
Sometimes I do funny things as a DRK too...
Then again, TBN (and I proceed to die from Walking Dead).

My friends who main tank told me the WAR secret and now I barely blink with high level WARs as a Healer main. 🤣

I did a Tower of Babil run as a White Mage to level it up, had a run with a warrior. This random warrior goes up against the last boss, and just. SITS in the middle of the big beam attack. You know. The one you gotta run out of. I just had a renew on him, and just kinda watched as his health didn't even seem to move.

Yes. I've soloed the second boss in Worqor Lador five times from about 90% health.
Was in an expert roulette with a warrior as a whm and didn't use a single lily the whole instance,,, it was great 10/10 recommend
Umm, even if you don’t need it to heal, you should ALWAYS be using lilies so that you can get your Afflatus Misery off. Otherwise, you are leaving DPS on the table, at which point, why even play as WHM?
@@Leroset not true. If you don’t need to heal what’s the point? Glare 3 has a potency of 310. Misery has a potency of 900. That’s 225 per GCD so you’re better off using glare instead since by the time you get one 900 potency attack off you could’ve gotten 4 310’s off for 1240 potency total

@@user-tw2ij7ss2t Yep, this is valid for nearly every savage raid out currently. Best DPS on FFlogs if WHM for a reason, and this is exactly what they do when they can't glare because the boss can't be targeted. 100% oGCD heals only when they don't conflict with oGCD dots or oGCD Assize.

Had a warrior finish the last boss in a dungeon while myself and other dps and healer laid their dead . Guy gave us a GG and left . We just laid their after he left , I party texted that we suck😂

One of my last experience was a dungeon where i finished the last 2 bosses alone from around 20-25% boss hp as a paladin. Tanks can be realy heroic at times. My party gged and cheered for me at chat :D Was a fantastic feeling.

As a WAR main, I was just sent this by my main healer friend. This is not a Lie. She throws a card on me and just lets me toss myself at bosses it's great!

Did a dungeon with a warrior once, the only heals that i provided were some shields and regen sometimes, I asked him "how do you heal so much" he just answered "im green like you, i just changed my color to blue for being more tanky" ok bro sorry

I play SCH and my god I got a WAR who made it is sole goal that I didn't have to pop a single shield the whole dungeon expect for the dps. "Just worry about dpsing and the dps dying :D"
There was only one close call at the end of the last pull of mobs in the dungeon, and he just said shit sorry I clicked the wrong ability. I just had to pop one shield on him and he was back to living life large.

To be fair paladins can also solo everything but they have to sacrifice dps for clemency
@@LeeSong325 PLD's biggest upper hand over WAR is burst self-healing without requiring a target, and perhaps the longer 10s invuln for certain stuff.
Otherwise, WAR has far more damage, more defensive CDs, better recovery and a lower CD on invuln.

@@creepypato3984 Holmgang is now 10 seconds too. And dont forget that Equilibrium got now a regen of top of that burst heal which is still free in comparison to Clemency (which got nerfed a little)

Had to solo the last 45%~ of Anima since everyone died. Everyone was just using the cheer emotes outside the arena. Love being a WAR main.
So, i decided to downloaded the game yesterday, and was debating which tank i should play.
When i had finally decided to play paladin, this video made me completelly change my mind and go all in on playing warrior.

This video inspired me to take up Warrior because I wanted to see what it felt like to not care. After being lvl 90 for a few months, not caring has never felt so good.

I absolutely endorse this. The new heals and defensive skills make this just perfect. They were strong before EW, now they're nearly unstoppable. We are the Juggernauts!
Me and another warrior duo'd the boss on 2nd part of Asphodelos from 40% a couple days ago. We just kept using Nascent flash on each other when necessary.
This needs an angry DRK in the corner. And I say that as a DRK main.

I believe this is accurate. Once watched in awe as a WAR solo-ed a boss that wiped an 48 man Bozjan Southern Front fate. Boss didn't even get the WAR to half health. And this was Bozja, so players are lvl capped at 80, could not imagine what they are like at 90. O_o
I was playing a DPS in Grand Cosmos the other day and both us DPS and Healer got killed when the final boss's health was around 50%. I just went away and had some lunch for about 20 mins while the Warrior solo'd the boss by themselves and self-healed through everything.
As a fresh lvl 90 warrior i can now fully understand and confirm that this is how i play. "I dont caaaaare"

@@crowdemon_archives Is it tho? It costs mana, which is damage if it doesnt pop, and in a dunegon pull its beside Dark Mind the worst Tank cooldown. At the beginning of a raid tier you can use TBN for autos and if you timed it right it'll pop, but the more gear on the same tier you have, the less likely you can use TBN for sustain. Which Bloodwhetting, Herat of Corundum and Holy Shelltron can just do that without drawbacks, only gains.
Love Judy so much, and also love that you can't escape sage heals.

Had a WAR in my 90 dungeon group, and I didnt have to heal even once: the few times, he got low, he just healed back up again immediately XD In the end he even soloed the endboss XD

I play a healer sometimes but I always set my attack skills to target and focus target so I can hit whatever the tank(or the party member I'm targeting) is hitting, had no problem with WAR so far, they healed themselves? I can dps instead xD

just a macro that makes me able to use that certain attack skill(like Glare or Dia, not holy or art of war since they're already AOE) on the enemy my party member is targeting while I'm targeting that party member
