Awesome video. Love how you explain geo nodes easily cause I struggle with them 👍
Crazy to see both of my gurus colliding to exchange some knowledge! Love ya guys keep doing what you do!!!
My denoising option is not available, what to do?
A wonderful text animation video.❤ I love your way of explaining in detail the way things work the way they do in geometry nodes.
awesome, i love the way you explain and make everything easier to follow
A point you missed because you have your default scene set up differently to most beginners is to set the timeline interpolation mode to linear as most people's default will be Bezier. They will be wondering why their version is slowing and speeding up each loop.
Easy and quick fix for this is to just select the keys you want in the timeline or graph editor and press T to get the option for the different interpolation modes, no need to enter the preferences. 🙂
@@anomalyraven Just curious, where did I mention having to enter the preferences? I pointed out he has his defaults set differently from the Blender default that beginners are likely to have and so should have mentioned it. I know how to fix it, however I did not give any instruction on how to fix it as that was not my point. Besides other comments gave perfectly good instructions.
@@TanjoGalbi My comment wasn't particularly aimed at you, I just mentioned it as an alternative for those who think it has to be done by editing default settings.
@@anomalyraven No problem. It was just worded like you were giving an alternative to what I said. I did put a like to it as it is good to know the keyboard shortcut, I just usually use the mouse and right click the timeline to change the interpolation lol
@@anomalyraven You helped a beginner!! 😎
Very cool and creative !! Well done! 👍👍👍
This is wonderful- thank you for posting this. Your tutorials are nothing short of incredible, and are exactly what I’m looking for (“how to do C4D type animations in Blender”) . Just insane what can be done in Blender now.
Already making my own for my channel, your tutorials are awesome!
OK this one is addictive i made it and have been playing with it for a week now making changes to the colors and text. thanks for posting it. Very easy to follow along too.
i always learn something new with you bro, thanks!
literally my favorite motion graphics blender mentor-learning so much 🤙🏽 preeesh
I love your vids.. it gives plenty of inspiration
I love your honesty...not many artists are geeks [speaking of myself as well] 😀 that's why till now geometry nodes proves to be quite a hassle to deal with. Great tutorials though always ♥
Always love your text animation tutorial 👍🏼
Thank you! I love making them
@@TheDucky3D what glasses are you using? thank you.

The best RUclipsr who use blender thank you so much 🇲🇦
“Geometry text naimation” the thumbnail said… despite that, you did an amazing job at explaining how to do it!
Finally brought your materials pack following this vid, both out of interest in the pack, and as a small thank you for the sheer volume of great tutorials you output. Thanks and keep up the amazing work!
I really appreciate that!!
@@TheDucky3D Bit of feedback, your install video, found the text a bit hard to read when highlighting what to unzip and what to add (I do have duff eyes), installed and unzipped the right ones but could do with text being larger.
Materials pack itself looks exactly what I was expecting/hoping. Early days but really, really nice and well worth the money.
@@erraticspace I really appreciate the feedback, I’ll see what I can fix there. I’m glad you like the materials.
Love text tutorials
Magnifico. He disfrutado y aprendido haciendo este tutorial. GRACIAS
Bro! you help me a lot!!! Your a beast!!!
Thank you!
17:48 If You dont have the "Denoising Normal" and "Denoising Albedo" Options in the Compositor's ''Render Layers'' Node, you need to activate it from the passes.Go to View Layer Properties, which is above the Scene Properties and under the Output Properties, then ->Data and activate the ->Denoising Data.Hope that too helped anyone that got a little bit lost.
thanks it really helped
15:45 For anyone finding hard to use the R+R command (Hitting R twice to move/rotate the light as Ducky said). An other option could be to press Shift+T and then just hover above the Object(In our case the Text) to light it up,it's simple in a way that, whatever Object you point to,the light will light it up ,and surprisingly easy and accurate in what we wish to be lighted.Tell me if it helped.
this can be done without using geometry nodes by
- a line with subdivisions and parent text to line
-use instancing on line
-animating the line with wave modifier set to x
for material : use gradient with instance to an empty
you can just type *"tau"* in the "phase offs" which is basically just 2*pi
Прикольно!
When you show the issue with the texture on the instances by the Voronoi example: simply take an Object Info node and plug the Random output into the Location of the Mapping node. Or if you need the Location to position the texture somehow, you probably need to use a Vector Math node to add the Random value after the Mapping, maybe with a Combine XYZ node to affect only certain axes by the random value.
Thank you! I’ll try that out
@@TheDucky3D Forgot to say, that's when you want to avoid the repetition, not the sliding effect
@@gordonbrinkmann ohhh!
one day i'll be a reasonably sucessful 3d artist and i'll buy your add on man, i promise
Actually, instead of typing in "2*pi" you could just type in "tau". Great tutorial!
Oh that’s cool! What’s tau
@@TheDucky3D 2*pi :-)
@@TheDucky3D The math is not too scary. If you want to know how far it is around the whole outside of a circle (aka circumfrence), you multiply the radius by 2*pi, or tau. So tau is 'a full trip around a circle', aka 'get you back to the starting point'. That's using radians. If you convert to degrees -- pi is 180 degrees, tau (or 2 * pi) is 360 degrees. We're mostly a lot more comfortable talking about the idea that if you do a 360 you get back to where you started.
@Ducky3D, you're doing such amazing content bud. Keep it up.
Thank you!!
Amazing tutorial! I've been doing Blender for a few years now and I still appreciate the Node Wrangler reminder 😁😂 cause my ADHD brain go zzzz 😴
Haha I get that!
Please make more text animation
I'm not really understanding why you separated out the denoise data and then I guess added it back in during the composite?
Hi Ducky!!!!!!
Yoo nice Tutorial!, I specially like ur 3 point lightings
Edit: 2 point sorry😶
Thanks!
Tried it out but it didn't work. It showed the initial state of transformation when I plugged in the wave texture node but when I hit play, it stands still, no movement, no animation. Dunno what exactly went wrong...
I suppose adding a realize instance node just before the set material node will solve the voronoi texture repeating issue discussed in this video. Anyway thanks for the tutorials.
Just tested it, sadly dosnt fix it. Just makes the scene slower since it has to process that
2 pi is radiant for 360° and blender can do both ° and radiant
Hey Ducky, great tutorial. im having trouble looping the animation, once its about to get to frame 80 in slows down, stops, then starts again after looping, any idea why this might be?
If you select both of the key frames on the timeline and right click, you'll see an option to change the interpolation. If you change it to linear instead of bezier, I believe that should smooth it out.
Your keyframes are being interpreted as Bezier and not linear (mine did it as well) right click on your keyframes go to interpolation mode then select Linear
@@KarlisConcoctions thank you!
in the animation of text why pi value is so much important rather while we use any random number why the animation misbehave plz explain the importance of math..
I can't find any video player that loops without stuttering. any suggestions?
My denoising option is not available what to do?
hi, about your Addon, is it support Displacement Maps as well?
It’s all bump materials for now so that it looks the same in eevee and cycles. Once eevee next is implemented I will have it over to displacement
please Ducky ! ... 1 thing i would really need ... is to see the full node and the effect, ... so i can get an image to refer to ! ... thks !
Yes I’ll be sure to get more wide views next time! I apologize
Also, you have a quote at the end of the description by itself
2 multiplyed by pi ist actually 360 degrees. So it's looping because it's how a normal 360 degrees rotation. Just pi is 180 degrees and pi/2 is 90 degrees.
That is good to know if you don't worry about seemless loops. The multiplier can determine how many turns in the animation. If you set N*pi where N is any multiple of 2 then it will turn half N times (2*pi turn once, 4*pi turn twice, 6*pi turn 3 times, etc.)
You are simply a genius🤩
SERIA BUENO QUE PUSIERAS LOS COMANDOS EN PANTALLA cuesta mucho aveces para los que hablamos español entender.
tranquilo man, no estoy quejandome, solo hago una sugerencia @@cedricgall7034

Why is my animation rendering at 80 pictures instead of a video?
For me it took 4.5 min to render what you rendered in 4 seconds... is that possible by simply having bad hardware?
me from the future: yes
👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👽👽
600th view?
Why image sequance?
It is safe to render in an image sequence as sometimes while rendering a video Blender sometimes crashes or gets some errors but in an image sequence, we can continue from where Blender crashed or got any error.
Is blender just for fun, or it will be helpful to make a career in this , is it in a demand, in today's tech world?
you put this out just so you could say to never use the default font.
😓 'promosm'
But at the end , does a college first year student can make money by blender?
