One time at Folks (they dropped the Po eventually) our meal was taking forever and my mom went to talk to the manager (ew I know but it had been like 45 minutes) and turns out our waitress got fired before we got our food! Fun!
If y’all have never been to South Georgia before, this is exactly how everyone talks down here. Jack literally looks and talks like he could be my next door neighbor or a local I’d politely greet while in downtown.
i don't know what it is about him. i truly want to believe that he is really this sweet, but i *feel* like he may have something to do with some unsolved murders.
I think jacks sweet but also has seen someone get murdered and never said anything witch caused a unsolved murder and Jack never said anything to police when they were there and he was interviewed by cops. Conspiracy theory about jack
I know exactly which one he's talking about! I'm from Conyers, Georgia as well, and my dad worked there! We used to go there all the time until it started to suck.
I got a tightly folded $1 tip while I was a bellman after lugging 4 huge bags to a room and then moving them to another room because they didn’t like it. They needed a new key so I had to bring that to them and I handed the $1 back to them with the key and VERY nicely said. “ you need this more than me”. It was a $250 room and this was 25 years ago. I was going to college and could easily find another part time job so I wasn’t scared they’d complain and get me fired but I was a little surprised they didn’t. I guess they didn’t want to explain it all and I was so nice about it they couldn’t say I acted rudely. 😆
My first job, bus boy at Po' Folks. It was owned by a guy from "The Nashville Network" they served country fried steak and they had red and white picnic table cloths. And they served drinks in a mason jar.
Didn't realize they changed the name. I remember the "all you can eat fried chicken" on Sundays killed it in Jackson, MS. There's still a few Po' Folks around FL.
We had one here in St. Charles, Mo and i have still yet to find a place that can even come close to touching the fried chicken and apple cobbler they had.
I'm from Conyers, and I used to go to that restaurant and it eventually became just "Folks" and now it's closed. :'( I really wonder if he was ever my family's waiter there...
My brother's done that with people, chase non-tippers out into the parking lot. I freakin' love this. and I've been to places like that in GA, slightly different but the same type cookin', called Po' Boys, in Southern Georgia, and if I didn't tip good, I definitely think I'd have a shotgun up my ass in the lot, and I would expect so and deserve so haha
He worked at a place called Poor Folks and was shocked that he didnt get a tip and that they were stealing the butters and jellies. Youre looking at the face of a monster
What I think a remix of this video would sound like: P. O. Apostrophe. Folks! Yehup! I worked at a restaurant called Po' Folks, (Yehup!), They'd have fly strips hangin' from the ceilin'... They were runnin' me ragged, (You should go there, y'all!) I was a good waiter, I was good, (Yehup!), That's what I would like to maintain, But sometimes your buttons get pushed, (Yehup!) P. O. Apostrophe. Folks! Yehup! (You should go there, y'all!) They were stealin' all the lil' grape jellies, (Yehup!), And all the butters and stuff, and I was like, "Y'all goin' grocey shoppin' at Po' Folks?" (Yehup!) I was a good waiter, I was good, (Yehup!), That's what I would like to maintain, But sometimes your buttons get pushed, (Yehup!) P. O. Apostrophe. Folks! Yehup! (You should go there, y'all!) Hello Kitty pocketbook, took out a one dollar bill, And I snatched it out of her hand! _Laughing_ (Yehup!) They'd have fly strips hangin' from the ceilin'... (You should go there, y'all!) P. O. Apostrophe. Folks! Yehup! (Which is a cute way of sayin' poor people!) P. O. Apostrophe. Folks! Yehup! (You should go there, y'all!)
do they just add it to the bill then? How would they enforce that? Is the restaurant responsible for making up the difference? Why do I care? I'm not sure.
He's just the most adorable thing EVER! More than puppies, kitties, babies combined, I love him so much :)
he's a saint psyberologist...he's a SAINT!
Lol agreed! Except for the "babies" part. Let's not get confused here, babies are NOT cute! Ever try sitting next to one on a plane? Lol not fun 😁
Me too, HE'S FRICKIN ADORABLE
I may be 14 but I find him adorable 🥰
One time at Folks (they dropped the Po eventually) our meal was taking forever and my mom went to talk to the manager (ew I know but it had been like 45 minutes) and turns out our waitress got fired before we got our food! Fun!
Used to eat at Folks in Woodstock, Ga years ago, classic
😂😂😂
I wasn't expecting him to say he snatched the dollar bill out of the little girl's hand, but he's absolutely serious. Too funny!!
What a twist!
Jack is a great storyteller 🏆
If y’all have never been to South Georgia before, this is exactly how everyone talks down here.
Jack literally looks and talks like he could be my next door neighbor or a local I’d politely greet while in downtown.
Or really the whole state sounds like this.
this is a video from 7 years ago...and I love him not less since then. his deivery so perfect and so articulate...
“You should go there, y’all...”. LOL!
"so articulate" lmao can you be more condescending towards someone with a southern accent?
Jack literally spells the name of the restaurant in the first 30 seconds of the video, and the uploader still got it wrong.
The uploader thought it was a repo business.
Look, we can't all get that high-falutin rural Georgian education okay.
I love Po Folks! Best bread puddin ever!!!
i don't know what it is about him. i truly want to believe that he is really this sweet, but i *feel* like he may have something to do with some unsolved murders.
*****
perhaps we're being a little cynical? i don't know...
+Katherine
Exactly :D But, frankly, he seems to be everything *positive* you can find in a Southerner - sweet and polite.
***** I mean, it's like thinking all Texans are overly conservative and rude but then meeting e.g. Owen Wilson xD
Blake Gildaphish I think you're getting confused with either Jordan Schlansky or Pierre Bernard
I think jacks sweet but also has seen someone get murdered and never said anything witch caused a unsolved murder and Jack never said anything to police when they were there and he was interviewed by cops. Conspiracy theory about jack
still one of my favorite interviews ever.
"Ol' hat" "Running me ragged" "rag tag" "buttons get pushed" lol so cute!
i just adore this mans voice
I remember Po' Folks! I haven't thought about it since I was a kid. We grew up in the same area.
That ending was hilarious!
I laughed so hard I got hiccups. Jack is hilarious! I can't get enough of him.
I know exactly which one he's talking about! I'm from Conyers, Georgia as well, and my dad worked there! We used to go there all the time until it started to suck.
I have never found taking money from children so funny
So cute ! I can see him working there! It’s a Southern restaurant!
He's on the edge of sociopath nice XD
You did the right thing man 🤣🤣
another georgia boy here. when we would eat at po' folks, my dad would always say "we goin' in rich folks, and comin' out po' folks". ahhh memories
I got a tightly folded $1 tip while I was a bellman after lugging 4 huge bags to a room and then moving them to another room because they didn’t like it. Somehow getting no tip at all would be less insulting than them giving you a dollar for all that work!
He just makes me smile. :)
He is the loveliest man!
'Po Folks was awesome. There use to be one in Memphis then it was turned into a
hooter's
Jrboyd19 sounds like it got even better lol
And now it’s a mechanic store of sorts? 😂
so cute!
Indeed
really annoying comment here but isnt the apostrophe in this video title in the wrong place
Sofia Mastro: You are right..and it's very irritating.
Oh man I love this guy
My first job, bus boy at Po' Folks. It was owned by a guy from "The Nashville Network" they served country fried steak and they had red and white picnic table cloths. And they served drinks in a mason jar.
Po' Folks was a favorite of mine. Used to be one in Huntington Beach. yummy.
He worked at Po’ Folks?! I used to love that place!
Didn't realize they changed the name. I remember the "all you can eat fried chicken" on Sundays killed it in Jackson, MS. There's still a few Po' Folks around FL.
I live in Georgia and Conyers is 16 miles down the street from where I live.
'Po Folks!!! They got those where I come from! I KNEW I LIKED THIS GUY!!!!!
I love how every talk show host is confused at what Jack is saying and I'm over here like "oh my God I've been to that, right off Iris Drive? Yeah..."
its fix it Felix junior from fix it Felix junior!
Po' Folks had great hushpuppies. Great.
This is absolutely hilarious lol
We had one here in St. Charles, Mo and i have still yet to find a place that can even come close to touching the fried chicken and apple cobbler they had.

Wow Po Folks I loved that place as a kid.
Some random blonde waiter at Po' Folks is actually Jack McBrayer
I remember Po' Folks...great chicken tenders.
Po Folks had the best hushpuppies.
When I lived in Miami Florida there was a Po’ Folks and they had fried food all the time great stuff
Po' Folks was the best! Hush puppies and sweet tea in a mason jar!
Man, I love Jack!...No homo.... ;D
Jack McBrayer was cool, now he's just fucking awesome.
Jack should play a plucky vault dweller who becomes a raider leader in the fallout TV series.
I love how the name of the restaurant is misspelled in the title :-P
I like his voice and accent. ^_^
oh Jack.. you are awesomely adorable :) Thank God we shared the same birth date :)
hes wander and fix it felix
Why is it that Everytime Jack talks, I can hear Wander from Wander Over Yonder?
"Bitch TIP!"
Wreck-It Ralph fans, imagine Felix doing this. :3
Stfu
Shaun Pegg Thanks for that comment. Nobody replies to my comments so I appreciate it :)
You're welcome
I want that in the deleted scenes.
+Guy In a Monster Mask Well you're rude.
Well at least in Georgia about 10 yrs ago they changed the name for all Po Folks just to Folks. Don't know about other states in the region
Po' Folks was a great place to eat at one time.
Po Folks. Fried okra and sweet tea served in a Ball jar
It was even worse when they changed the name to 'Po.
I'm here all week...
15% tip is required here in NY by law because they get payed less than minimum wage.
the only four people who disliked this video was the family of four that stiffed him out of a tip at po' folks.
Fix It Felix Jr! How could you snatch a dollar from a child?! Go to the corner. (Jack voices Fix IT Felix Jr if you guys didn't know)
So funny.
So funny
OMG LE WANDER OVER YONDER INTENSIFIES
He worked at a place called Poor Folks and was shocked that he didnt get a tip and that they were stealing the butters and jellies. Youre looking at the face of a monster
Savage lol
The first time I knew that the country may be going soft was when the dropped the "po" from Po Folks.
Hilarious
This guy is from georgia.......po folks originate in south carlolina
And?
Jack is very nice but I wish he was Felix 💙😊
Dear Jack
💙💜❤️💛💚🖤 you
You get cats 🙀😺😸😾😿😹😽😼
hey if they can afford a hello kitty pocket book for their kid they can afford to tip at po' folk
Bothers me how cute he is 🤔
he was lucky he didn't wait tables for Paulie and Christopha

The title of this video spelled Po' Folks incorrectly heh
wanderrrrrrrrr ~ XD
I didn't realize that Po Folks was only in the South. Lol
Oh how I miss that Southern accent....
do they just add it to the bill then? How would they enforce that? Is the restaurant responsible for making up the difference? Why do I care? I'm not sure.
I really hate the tipping culture. From my perspective it would be quite awkward for someone to ask me for a tip.
i want him to be my man
He reminds me so much of an ex
Not when you're making 32% of minimum wage because you're working in a "tipped profession."
Lol
Wander over Yonder is just the same in real life.
Folks is legitimately one of the worst places to get good southern food
He is so wrong but still funny
Not as good after they changed their name to Folks
