Although I would love to have so many of these fish, the retail catfish is my number one. The first time I saw these fish I absolutely feel in love. I want one so bad. If I ever get to have big fish that is the first one I am getting for sure.

Love that white Shovelnose. Rod, soon as I saw the new Rock layout I feel as maybe you need 2 or 3 different sections of rocks so the ones that like to hide have some separation from each other. Way less stressful.

Your first tank looks like a good housing option for Ompok malabaricus (a giant by Ompok catfish standards but still smaller and more manageable than Wallago catfish), that would be a rare fish indeed. I am awestruck by your collection, lately your videos are helping the fact that I am stuck in a high risk zone without an option to get out and buy more fish/fish tanks.

I know this is going to make you laugh but my favorite fish is the sunset dwarf gourami😄😄. This was my first fish and will always be my favorite because he greets me everyday with his tentacles against the glass giving me a handshake 🤝💙. As for a larger favorite for freshwater I have to go with the arrowanna! Majestic beautiful and they have the tentacles too😊😁.
My favourite fish is a 24k Super Red Chille Arowana. Fortunately I live in Asia and can own it, but unfortunately I am not blessed with money to buy it now, but one day I'll have it.

I recently got myself an Polypterus Endlicheri, I've kept most of the readily available Bichirs but never had the space for an Endli so I'm extremely happy about that one! That wasn't actually the plan though! The Bichir I REALLY wanted to get was the Mokele Mbembe Bichir named after an African Cryptid that supposedly lives in the same river system. They're meant to be pretty hard to catch & then with Covid going down shops are sourcing their fish from reputable farms instead of Wild Caught so I really had no luck! One day I'd love to get a Lungfish too, one of the absolutely gigantic ones haha.

Black tip Reef Sharks would be my dream species to keep. I don't know if you would consider them rare, but coming from Oakland Ca...to me that is rare as it gets. Great video. All the fish and tanks that you have are amazing. New to the channel, but wow👀! 👍🏾

I love watching your videos and I use to be a fish 🐠 hobbyist for several years,but like you said at the end fish die and I have lost expensive ones like arrowanas and sturgeons, African cichlids etc. I thought 💭 to myself enough is enough!!!

That gar is pretty. It's like a lutino cockatiel - not the normal gray color, but not white either. I think maybe people would call that gar and tiger shovelnose a "dilute" color morph.

Awesome fish. Was that a saber tooth tetra? I haven't kept fish for awhile. At one point I had two alligator gar, one silver arowana, one red tailed cat fish and a tiger shovelnose catfish.

In my country we have one arapima in my area which is 6 feet long. Pretty much the largest fish in the whole area

I always loved Oscars, and i would do anything for a full red Oscar. Im brazilian, and finding nice pattern Oscars, specially a full red is dificult around here, but maybe one day ill find one

That's question is to hard, lol. Alligator Gar would be absolutely amazing to own if resources didn't matter. I have always loved all North American gar species and Esox species that I am aware of (Muskellunge, Northern Pike, Pickerels are what I have now ). Alligator, Spotted, Long nose, and Florida Gar. Then the monster "Crocodile" Gar (Alligator/Long nose Hybrid) Coyote Peterson showed on Brave Wilderness was pretty epic. But the fish I fell in love with was the Orange Gar Zac Catchem brought to you. I am not sure if either of the two you have now are that fish. Took a break from RUclips for a while but man that fish just speaks to me lol.

Ok so big question on those short body red tails they look much smaller of course hints the name but do they end up around the same size long term as a normal retail catfish like if I buy one should I still have to worry about upgrading and eventually putting it in a pond or can I keep it in a tank like a 100-200g
