Aren't these DEI mayors are wonderful? "We knew about the problem 7 years ago and did nothing but we did have a pride parade last week so there's that".

No, it's not a women thing, it's Montreal mayor thing. Last mayor before did nothing and the mayor before that did nothing either. Don't make this into a gender thing because if you lived here, you would know how universally useless local politicians are.😓

Imagine if this happened in the winter...what a nightmare.
The Mayor talking about "votes" just goes to show you what's running through her mind all the time.

Jean Francois left yesterday. I hope he has good insurance. He showed me his birth certificate, which is all blurry, along with many damaged photos, books, and souvenirs-things that will never come back. My insurance told me that all appliances and personal items WILL NOT be covered according to my insurance policy, which surprised me, but I think the city might offer some assistance.

Isn’t it coincidental this happens in two major Canadian cities in just a couple of months?

1:00 mayonnaise Valerie Plante says the city doesn't know why it happened the city has to check twice of the incompetent people they hire in the water main department. I went out August 19, 2024 in the rainstorm 3 streets down to check for my car cause 2 years now can’t park across my street cause of the bike lane I counted 3 manholes clogged the water reaching sidewalk level on a school side. Why are no inspectors walking the streets checking to prevent destruction situations as we saw the last 2 months. The city of Montréal blamed the size of underground pipes 😂🧐
