Hello Chommang, it's been a year maybe since my last comment and i just want to say thankyou so much that you make all this drawing tutorial videos. And now my drawing is improving a lot way better, I'm very grateful because of your video I can get this far and never give up on drawing. I think that's all I can say, peace.
I'm also thankful beyond explanation, but I will credit Chommang , impressive tutorials you skillfully instruct us viewers with building the human form, I truly wish this gold - or imo these are valuable lessons that I could have benefitted from 20 years ago or longer.

Hello, I'm practicing while watching an explanation video of your drawings. Thank you for providing the Japanese translation. It's very helpful. I really like your polite and calm explanation. I am referring to the general explanation of muscles. Thanks to you, I've been enjoying drawing lately. Sorry for talking about myself for so long. I used Google Translate, so I'm sorry if there are any strange words. I will always support you. Please take care of yourself.
Hay chommang, i know im a nobody to you but your videos really help me improve my anatomy work and im thankful to have accidentally encountered you! I hope you help more and more young artists trying to improve their art and i hope you get more supporters. Thats all i wanted to say. Thank you and farewell chommang!
Your tutorials and practices are both great to just watch and relax and also to draw side by side and follow step by step. I love how you left the sound of the pencil grating against the paper, makes it so much more real and nice to listen to. No blaring music in your ears, no over the top sound effects either. It’s relaxing really. The tutorial itself is also amazing allowing people to see your steps and your choices and allow us to comprehend them with a simple yet constructive guide. It’s great!

Hello Chommang, maybe this is just a random comment for you, but I want to thank you for your videos. If I don't give up on drawing is beacause of them. I'm really perfectionist and I hate my drawings. I really try to improve, but sometimes I question myself if I really want to draw beacause I feel like I'm not enjoying it. I like how you seem to draw for the sake of drawing, not expecting really something, just enjoying the process, and even, the outcome it's awesome. I want to draw like that. After your videos I always take the pencil and I try again and again. I just wanted to thank you.
Thank you for your random comment. 😁 Actually, I started RUclips to improve my drawing skills. But I feel lonely doing it alone. I hope we can all enjoy drawing together. :)
Idk if this is just a me thing, but the frustrating part of learning to draw is ill go weeks with zero improvement, then, suddenly, I'll improve alot all at once. Its like a paycheck i put in hours of work but i only get paid at the end of the month! If you feel like youre not improving maybe this is true for you to, so don't give up

I’m still struggling with the different perspectives for the torso but WOW I can already do the torso almost perfectly with my first try without any erasing with your tutorial! This will help me a lot in my art journey. Edit;I have improved tremendously this past month of constant practice and I’m having fun!
the calm voice and reassuring words mean everything to me. this makes me want to actually improve, despite the fact that i can find it frustrating sometimes.
Hey Chommang, I found you a couple hours ago and my drawing/sketching has improved by a lot. I've watched so many tutorials but by far yours has actually helped me and I can draw a *Functioning* body now :) thank you so much
I think a tutorial on how you do to draw your lines that smoothly would be much appreciated. More seriously, you art is amazing and i look foward to seeing more awesome tutorials like these.
I don't know if I've pointed this out before, but it's clear to see how confident you are with your line strokes! This is a sign that you're experienced and have good muscle memory, I find that hard to do and I usually just end up doing scratchy chicken feet lines :') This is kinda irrelevent, but I find it super fascinating! Thanks for teaching us how to draw bodies, Chommang!
I can't believe I found your content just now! It explains it so well, better than other tutorials. Your voice is also smooth and calming, you are great!

At first (A few months ago) I didn't bother with this tutorial because I couldn't grasp the techniques and shapes, but after spending alot of time practicing drawing I decided that it was time to come back here. And when I came back everything felt like it clicked, I was able to catch up to the drawing speed and how to do them. I was ecstatic! From there on I realized the issue wasn't the tutorial. It was me trying to access something above my level.
I get it now... So for those who are wondering which is better, Box method (Mannequin) or Loomis method (Circles). Here's a breakdown, the Box method is for Male bodies like he did one earlier [Chommang Drawing] because it's better for the muscularity and positions of male since their bodies are upside down triangles, and for the female which he used the Loomis method because females have a more (juicy) curvy body than males, and also females are made mostly of circles like it's body is a triangle bigger on it's lower body parts and smaller on it's torso except for the br**sts. Please guys, do not get mad and pursue me because I'm just explaining what method is best for drawing because both Box and Loomis are the most popular body drawing style 😊. Box method is mainly for perspectives!
Watching this and occasionally drawing along with you was so relaxing. I always struggle with drawing bodies despite trying so many methods. It's like I always go back to square one the next day. I've picked up some strategies from your video and I'll definitely use them from here in out ❤
