Thank you very much sir.your teaching is very gentle.thanks for not talking and explaining all the things by writing them.the video really rox.you tube is alive just because the teachers like you.
I mean literally wow!! This took us like 40+minutes in class and still my concepts was not that clear and here in just 4 mins I have mastered the concepts..
Thank you for ur wonderful explanation we didn't know how to handle it before seeing this video bt after this we become a specialist in this experiment tq for ur teaching😊👍
@@science_sir I used to think that 'Pitch' and 'Least Count' are the same thing. Everyone used to say that they are not without giving any proper explanation. You're video helped me to get rid of this confusion. Thank you very much. Keep up the good work.❤

*Doing this again because I did it for Vernier Calipers* *Summary for quick rewise.* 1. You need the following observations: ~ Zero Error for CS : If above the mark, subtract it from measured length... if below the mark, add it to measured length. ~ No. of divisions on CS ~ Pitch = Length covered on VS after 1 rotation of the CS ~ VSR (Vertical Scale Reading : Horizontal one) ~ CSR (Circular Scale Reading : Circular one) 2. You do the following calculations: ~ Least Count LC = Pitch / No. of divisions on CS Thickness = VSR + (CSR ± ZE)*LC [ Vertical Scale Reading + (Circular Scale Reading ± Zero Error) * Least Count ]
Science Sir thanks a lot for the fast reply...helped me a lot..I also referred the vernier calliper video..well made! Keep up with it gud work sir..looking forward for more experiments
Calculate least count by taking the inner jaws and closing them and opening them and then set to about the position and you should hear a click, then solder the depth stem to positioning and multiply the number you got by 15 because 15c on the caliper=1000rpm metric and then divide by 4.7 to find the calipers density scale measurement 3000Amp imperial. Then to find the final result take a ruler and measure the item you are trying to measure then solder the ruler into the depth blade and clamp the tool with the lower jaws and snap at the item really fast. Using at least 5000Gs you can probably get a 99% accurate measurement, be warned however your caliper may snap and you might need to solder it back together. My caliper sadly snapped back on 9/11/2001 when I accidently applied 16000Gs three times over the recommended daily amount. Although I am proud of my vernier and I think it lived a good successful life before it sadly snapped when I accidently soldered its p3nis off.
