    10 mg doe nothing for me. It takes 30mg to help me sleep

    What if sleep doesn’t come? I lost my sleep. I think I have adrenal insufficiency.

    I don't normally get supplements with the exception of Vitamin D. Instead I try to trigger my mitochondria to make its own melatonin. So, the best solution for me is to trigger the cells' ability to make melatonin itself. I might have some issues during autumn-fall and winter when I get less sunlight exposure, but in spring and summer months I'm okay. Thanks for sharing this valuable information with us Dr. Cabral!🌷

    I have acid reflux LPR that gets almost 100% better with 1.5mg -3mg of melatonin. When I go off melatonin the LPR returns. It is ok to to stay on melatonin long term? Does it affect female hormones?

      Melatonin can be taken long term with no side effects. Ideally you would use this time to correct the reflux problem. I share my recommendations in podcast stephencabral.com/podcast/2228/
