I too get an error 400. I contacted the support and they told me that if the instructions in this video does not work I have to pay an hostinger expert $50 to fix it !!!

Yes, it will work with other websites as well. As long as you download the backups of your website and upload them to another plan - it will work as on your previous plan 🤗
Why not use the free or pro version of WPVivid plugin for a simpler website copy and transfer? Are there any downsides to this approach?
Yes. It will amost never be transfered 100 % sure as per my knowledge.
@@Spahiuvalmond Ok, I have transferred dozens of sites using WPVivid and almost never had any issue. One exception was an extremely large site with a lot of images. That one I had to optimize a bit. Then the site transferred without any problems. Just my experience.
What exactly is not transferred in your experience?
I'm selling one of my websites to a friend who wants her own account to be able to control it exclusively.

Even after doing the find and replace in the database, the new site uploaded at the new URL still tries to use the old URL when I log in.

The website files are saved on our side for up to ~90 days, however, we always recommend generating the backup from your side as well and keep it on your device to be safe. However, you are free to use another, new domain for your website as well. You would only need to move the files from one website to another one 👀

Migrating Right now after a complete breakdown and I got all the needed assistant sofar all for free . But if you decide to hire them to do the whole thing for you I think they charge small fees , nevertheless you can DIY and ask them in live chat if you got stuck
