Hell of a servo, fast and strong and a really good price ($125 USD). Thanks for the review 👍 A lot of servos out there now, capable of similar performance so, the real test is long term durability. Let us know how this thing does over time!
I bought that servo for my Superlite SCX10 ii and I got in a bind while in a comp and that servo ripped my front axle c hub and bent my servo horn! I changed to a aluminum axle housing and a Vanquish servo horn!
Can't think of a better way to start Thanksgiving than with an exocaged video. Thanks for always putting out good content man. And thanks for the awesome reviews you do I've definitely made a lot of decisions on parts I've gotten in the past from what I've seen you put together and how the stuff performs. Cheers from Northern Kentucky.
You can’t compare a servo running 6s with a servo running 4s! 😂 The NHX Max6 is only putting out 830oz/in at 14v while the Holmeshobbies SHV650 puts out 1055oz/in at the same 14v. The SHV is way stronger when compared apples to apples. Nobody is running 6s in their 1/10 scale crawlers…
As for the low pro servo you want the shv500 LP. The shv650 and shv800 are full size servos. And if think the 650 is good man you have to try the shv800. I went with the shv800 servo for the fact the gears have bigger teeth, and it looks to have more gears for a better ratio. All I know is on 3s and 4s it throws my axial wraith 2.2 around perfectly 💪💪💪
Thanks to Biden even my 1230 Savoxs are becoming cost prohibitive to a retiree. And how/where the hell do you plug that Holmes goober in? It sure don't plug into the receiver like my others. Do I need to BUY additional electronic stuff to accept a $125.00 servo?
it plugs directly into the battery balance plug or I put a JXT output at the esc to power the servo, its on when the battery is plugged in just like the Crawlmaster Mini ESC is.
@@ExocagedRC Thanks for the response. I use Traxxas batteries and charger so I don't have a "balance plug" to plug into. And I don't know what an JXT is. Do I need to solder? If so everything is moot because it is then NOT user-friendly IMO.
Happy Thanksgiving Joe & ALL!
Same to you! Happy Thanksgiving!!

I got 6 of these and run them on 3s. These are my favorite servo. Cant beat it for the price.

Joe Biden is the sole cause of our country's latest surge of inflation?
Wow... he must be way more powerful than I thought. :]

Yeah. Definitely Biden’s fault. Don’t worry. Donald will fix it for you…

Of course. How could I have forgotten? ;D
