@@MrPeter-lm5ew stewart's right up there with the guy from saga, the one from the, uh, dave matthews band, and the red hatted-chili-peppercorns, the nirvanas, the satoshis, and the effing rippingtons, that cat is freaking lethal, yo! oh and futureman, futureman's got an unfair advantage, but he doesn't even need that, yo!

@@MrPeter-lm5ew honestly, it would be hard to pick one greatest drummer other than myself or either of my friends dave, or dave, both very different, both great, but neither can do what i can do, and with relative ease! it's not even fair! haha!

"A wicked man he kept me on a chain" I heard this 35 years ago, and I still think this is the best music I have ever heard. "I could not speak but now I sing"

This album stands out for Stewart, so much music here, his drums and the machines all meshing perfectly. The Rhythmatist busy rhythmatizing...

Ray Lema is amazing on this song. The guitar playing starting around minute 1:50 opened me to African music forever.

there's a built-in heart-beat, and it thumps away, it has been, even way before 1985 but definitely stronger since then! them drums are the only thing stoppin' the whole damn thing from flyin' apart, yo~
not in this song, i just mean, in general!
you drummers, learn to hit them gently! what if they could feel ya hittin' them! you can't lie to your drums! they wanna work with ya, ya gotta give 'em a break, they're tough enough, you ain't gentle enough! see??
the drums play you, you don't play them! it's called respect, son! learn it!
